We hope to see you as a part of our community soon and God Bless!

  2. The forums in the Christian Congregations category are now open only to Christian members. Please review our current Faith Groups list for information on which faith groups are considered to be Christian faiths. Christian members please remember to read the Statement of Purpose threads for each forum within Christian Congregations before posting in the forum.
  3. Please note there is a new rule regarding the posting of videos. It reads, "Post a summary of the videos you post . An exception can be made for music videos.". Unless you are simply sharing music, please post a summary, or the gist, of the video you wish to share.
  4. There have been some changes in the Life Stages section involving the following forums: Roaring 20s, Terrific Thirties, Fabulous Forties, and Golden Eagles. They are changed to Gen Z, Millennials, Gen X, and Golden Eagles will have a slight change.
  5. CF Staff, Angels and Ambassadors; ask that you join us in praying for the world in this difficult time, asking our Holy Father to stop the spread of the virus, and for healing of all affected.
  6. We are no longer allowing posts or threads that deny the existence of Covid-19. Members have lost loved ones to this virus and are grieving. As a Christian site, we do not need to add to the pain of the loss by allowing posts that deny the existence of the virus that killed their loved one. Future post denying the Covid-19 existence, calling it a hoax, will be addressed via the warning system.

Around non believers very hard.

I am hanging around true believers and it is easy to socialize with them, talk up conversations etc. However being around non believers including my family is hard as they are not always nice, love to hold grudges and sometimes swear. Around non believers the swearing is much worse which is why I avoid them.

Example around that dumb "Alpha" course which I dropped after two weeks I could not stand around the non-believer using the F-word which I left almost suicidal thanks to God he picked me up before the KO from the enemy.

Now around the various Christian prayer and life groups "I am in five of them" I can talk with believers like I did during yesterday prayer group talking more easily than with my non believer family. So I am struggling with praying about this and the fact because of the non-believer issues I can't work around them or attend any type of education program.

Also forgot to post both my medical and regular therapist don't count as they are both Christians which I found out later why I am able to talk to them easy. However my last therapist was far from it and I even told him when he sometimes swear. I even stormed out of the room when he said the F-word but thanks to God's grace even back then when I was not close to him I ended up getting the right therapist worked out at the end.

I understand it is sometimes difficult to communicate our faith with unbelievers. I live in a 55+ village where there is not one other Christian. Getting conversations around to spiritual topics is difficult.

With my neighbours, I find it best to start with practical help. The groundsman in the village is from another country, applying for a protection visa. It is becoming easier to engage in Christian conversation now. Friendship first and followed by more focussed conversation.

I'm associated with the Christian & Missionary Alliance of Australia. During the last 12 months, one of the pastors has led a Webinar on Conversational Evangelism. I've just emailed him to determine when the next course will be run. If you are interested I can sent you a link to the Webinar.

It sounds a little like you have decided that all non believers are bad people. I understand that is what you feel, if everyone you have met speaks bad words, and are unfriendly. But let me tell you, that there will be millions of non believers who are nice people, even sometimes nicer than Christians. Just because people are Christian, does not make them angels. They might not say bad words often, but that does not make them better people. There are lots of Christians who are bad people too. It´s not all non believers either who speaks bad words, so things are not black and white like it seems to be for you. I think the best thing about life is being open minded, that is also a big part of Christianity, to not put fences between people, to take all the bad, and reverse it with love. Love is the reason we are Christian, love is what we believe in, god is love. Love goes beyond races and colors and labels. Love does not make us better people than others, love is made to unite us, and fill us with acceptance, or so it should. You can´t control other people, you can only control yourself. Of course if people say bad words around you, and you have a hard time with that, tell them it bothers you.I think next time you are around people, try to not have any opinions beforehand about them. Give people a chance, like you want to have second chances too, so must you give the same to others, who knows, you might be surprised. Maybe you will find someone who you can actually talk to for a change, maybe you will see that things are possible if only you change your thoughts a little, it´s all it takes really in most cases for all of us...

Thanks but I been around non believers many won't even give me the time or day and if they talk to me they have criticism if I object with there views.

I have not meet any Christians with those issues.

I understand but you'll need to be fruitful at some point in your Christian life and this means you might have to witness to a non believer. I suggest you try online ministry when the time comes, God bless you
