Definitely, but I prefer to use the word "distracted"... and it's because we are in a war, spiritual warfare.

I think we have to examine ourselves daily (not condemn), and be determined not to throw HIM on the back-burner or background of our lives and heart.

Me personally, I have to remind myself that He is Lord, and I am not. He is BIG, and I am small. If I am too busy for God, I have forgotten that.

I have to come up with creative new ideas every few weeks to keep myself tuned into to His spirit living inside me.

This week I am setting an alarm hourly and praising Him when that alarm goes off. Next week, I might write out verses on cards and carry them in my pocket. I have to be deliberate and intentional because FLESH woman is always trying to push Him out.. "too busy too distracted"

I thankyou dear ones for responding to this thread. I was taught as a young man to 'beware of the barrenness of being too busy'. I still need to guard against this,even though retired! God help us.
