And scientists also constantly changing their views on origin of earth. They will never find their answer as God told us where it originated from.
I wouldn’t put any faith in what they say.

apparently a scientist said the ozone is messing up which will burn half the world and others will freeze like the ice age
If you look for doom there is plenty to be found, much if not most of it agenda driven.. If you look for hope you will find it in the Lord. He's still on the throne and still in charge. If you put down the doom searches it leaves the other standing in your forefront.

I wouldn't worry about it. Science books have to be rewritten now and then to correct things that were once believed by some scientists and then found to be incorrect by other scientists. In any case I trust God.

Who, where, and when?
You have given no information as to whether a scientist did say this, whether you read it,/saw it in a sci to film or dreamt it.

George Bernard Shaw did some research he discovered that one out of one people die.

To put it in English. Everybody will die.

So some scientist may or may not have said " the world is coming to an end ! "

So what.

What difference is it going to make to how you live?

Well, according to what I might have for scientific knowledge > if the ozone thins out, this could mean the atmosphere gets thinner. And what happens because there is no atmosphere, at all, on the moon? You can fry an egg in the sun and just inches away you can freeze the same egg where the sun's light does not touch the surface. Because there is no atmosphere to make a blend of temperatures between the lit and shaded surfaces of the moon.

So, now . . . in my opinion . . . if the ozone has been thinning, this may already have caused what I call a little bit of a "moon effect" . . . so temperature differences between shade and sunlight, and between day and night are greater because of the thinning atmosphere. And with greater differences, we can have more instability so there is more air movement of cooler air pushing warmer air up. And with this can be more storms and other air movement more than if the atmosphere was thicker to stabilize temperatures more.

If this is correct, then warming is not the real problem, but thinning of the air is. And so the sun beam can more strongly effect ice to melt it . . . even if the temperature is below freezing > atmospheric warming might not be what is melting the ice!! But sunlight can pass into the depth of ice and melt it, so there is even a "tank" of water inside the ice mass . . . where surface warm air is not at all reaching where the ice melts . . . if I understood what I read right :)

So, yes I can see how one part of the earth could be warmer and another in ice . . . if thinned atmosphere causes a "moon effect" here between darker and more lit parts of the earth.

But 2 Peter 3:10-12 says that in the Day of the Lord >

"the elements will melt with fervent heat" and he says, "both the earth and the works that are in it will be burned up."

So, even if things get colder and older, they won't stay that way. You can consider Romans 8:20-21.

Ozone is repairing itself while everyone is sheltered from the pandemic.
If anything, the pandemic has done more to halt climate change than any conferences or agreements.

Of course, if we start WWIII over it, all bets are off.

The Lord returns (nobody knows when) then the 1st resurrection happens ... all saved (from the grave and those living at that time) are taken to heaven and the 1,000 years is spent in heaven .... after the 1,000 years the 2nd resurrection happens (the lost) and things play out on from there

apparently a scientist said the ozone is messing up which will burn half the world and others will freeze like the ice age

Which scientist?

Further, what a single scientist says isn't exactly all that meaningful--what is meaningful is what the overall body of peer-reviewed science says.

Climate change is very real, but no, we're not going to burn/freeze in some massive cataclysm.

For a while the ozone layer was in trouble. Ozone is a really important atmospheric gas that reflects harmful solar radiation back into space, and so a weakening of the layer of ozone in the atmosphere does and can have detrimental effects. The good news is that, in the last few decades we've done a lot of work to fix that particular problem. We've reduced the amount of aerosols we pump into the air, which was a major component of the weakening ozone layer, and as such ozone levels have gone up.

There are, arguably, far more important issues involving human causes in our current climate crisis. Namely our green house gas output. Where gases like ozone help reflect solar radiation away, green house gases such as carbon dioxide and methane trap solar radiation in. This directly contributes to a general warming trend, and that has a chain-of-effect, from the loss of polar ice, interfering with weather systems, the increase of melting ice into the oceans lowers ocean salinity and can disrupt ocean currents. It has compounding effects, thawing permafrost in tundra regions exposes long dead biological matter that was previously frozen, thus it begins to decompose, a byproduct of decomposing matter is the release of methane, thus methane being released by thawing permafrost adds to the overall greenhouse gas problem.

We are already seeing how this effects us, there are island nations in the South Pacific which are literally disappearing as sea levels rise. Which is why countries like Tuvalu are very vocal about these issues, because they are already seeing first hand what is happening. And it may be too late to fix things in time for some of these island nations, Tuvalu may simply cease to exist within the next several years as the island nation literally succumbs to the ocean.

The danger isn't a sudden doomsday catstrophe from a Hollywood disaster movie. The danger is things, continuing the way they are, will continue to negatively impact the planet, the planet's ecosystems, and us in a lot of ways, some which we are already seeing, some we can predict, but it will have ramifications and effects that we can't predict and remain unknown. But rising sea levels alone will, in the long term, mean the displacement of literally millions of people around the globe from low-level coastal regions. And the displacement of millions of people would easily be the largest refugee crisis we've ever seen.

Dealing with climate change isn't about doomsday scenarios, but about taking seriously that changing climate with direct human causes will have long term harmful consequences for everyone--all of us--and that since we can still do something about it before it's too late, we should.
