Seven years of great tribulation is such a long time, wars, famine, peace removed, murders everywhere as people kill each other, bitter poisonous water and finally all water becomes blood, who could survive such disaster by drinking blood. Could all mankind die and Jesus with the raptured saints repopulate the earth after Armageddon?

May Jesus bless you all HalleluYAH

There will be survivors. It is not our Father's pattern to destroy everyone. He saved eight from the flood, three from Sodom and Gomorrah , and He will save some from the great tribulation. I think the majority of survivors will be Israeli's. But there are preppers in other countries that may also survive.

Are there any survivors after the Great Tribulation
Matthew 24:29-31

29 Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken: 30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.

31 And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

God has informed me that the end times, can not be prevented all together, but "can be", "postponed", it's not too late right now anyways, to be avoided and postponed for a later time...

What does all this talk, and those creating all this panic about the end times...? Where is all that "getting us"...? Those spreading "fear" in the name of "righteousness"... That kind of behavior and those listening to ones doing this, will get us nowhere...

People who genuinely care about others, those who truly love, should be focusing on trying their best to postpone end times, instead of wanting to bring it on...

Yes, we should always be prepared and ready for Jesus return at any time, but we don't have to be being prepared for the end times events specifically, this only creates fear, anxiety, and wide spread panic, and a wanting to die, which isn't right and is not good for us... Besides no kind of preparation for end times events, will be adequate and it is out of our hands and control anyhow, and those ones thinking that they can be in some kind of control of it, are delusional...

We should not be trying to preserve our life in end times, and thinking about or planning how to preserve ourselves through it, but be ever-ready to die at any time, but not wanting to die, but ready for it, or Jesus return at any time...

God Bless!

30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.

Those Tribes mourn, why ??? because they are left behind. The wise virgins shall be gathered on the cloud together with the resurrected saints.

May Jesus bless you all HalleluYAH

Have these things not already come to pass ?
I think we have seen enough killing and bloodshed in the last 21 centuries.

If it continues for much longer I'm going to wash my hands of Christianity.
Why are you so angry?

Yes, there will be people who survive the tribulation. The 144,00 as a start.
Not many more though as it will be almost impossible to live for 7 years without buying or selling, working, moving around, skulking to avoid being caught. Any believer will be quickly asked to renounce Christ... then either you take the mark and are damned forever or stand for Christ and lose your head.

In the end, it will be the survivors who populate the earth in the millennial age where Christ rules and Satan is bound until a short period of time near the end of the thousand years.

None of this has occurred yet.... but it is very very close.

Remember HE sends out HIS CRAFTSMEN who also are told to put a mark on the foreheads of those who are appalled by all the atrocities which will come upon the earth in the last days

Love, even natural love. may be cast down, but not for all
Those who guard their hearts and do not become swayed by what is evil and wrong but cling to what is good and do what is right may be saved and lead many to the truth

Not to mention as jack has already mentioned, 144,000 of the 12 tribes of Israel who will give such a profound testimony to the TRUTH of the Gospel because they will be able to (when GOD pours HIS SPIRIT upon them) make the connections between the OLD TESTAMENT pointing to all the TRUTHS fulfilled in CHRIST

Hi the 2nd coming of Jesus and the salvation of Israel at the end of the tribulation and the beginning of the millennium is all shown in one amazing chapter of Zech 14. We see so many loose ends all come together at this point. I am going tp 1st post the chapter from NKJ then make some notes.
1 Behold, the day of the LORD is coming,
And your spoil will be divided in your midst.
2 For I will gather all the nations to battle against Jerusalem;
The city shall be taken,
The houses rifled,
And the women ravished.
Half of the city shall go into captivity,
But the remnant of the people shall not be cut off from the city.
3 Then the LORD will go forth
And fight against those nations,
As He fights in the day of battle.
4 And in that day His feet will stand on the Mount of Olives,
Which faces Jerusalem on the east.
And the Mount of Olives shall be split in two,
From east to west,
Making a very large valley;
Half of the mountain shall move toward the north
And half of it toward the south.
5 Then you shall flee through My mountain valley,
For the mountain valley shall reach to Azal.
Yes, you shall flee
As you fled from the earthquake
In the days of Uzziah king of Judah.
Thus the LORD my God will come,
And all the saints with You.
6 It shall come to pass in that day
That there will be no light;
The lights will diminish.
7 It shall be one day
Which is known to the LORD—
Neither day nor night.
But at evening time it shall happen
That it will be light.
8 And in that day it shall be
That living waters shall flow from Jerusalem,
Half of them toward the eastern sea
And half of them toward the western sea;
In both summer and winter it shall occur.
9 And the LORD shall be King over all the earth.
In that day it shall be—
“The LORD is one,”
And His name one.
10 All the land shall be turned into a plain from Geba to Rimmon south of Jerusalem. Jerusalem[fn] shall be raised up and inhabited in her place from Benjamin’s Gate to the place of the First Gate and the Corner Gate, and from the Tower of Hananel to the king’s winepresses.
11 The people shall dwell in it;
And no longer shall there be utter destruction,
But Jerusalem shall be safely inhabited.
12 And this shall be the plague with which the LORD will strike all the people who fought against Jerusalem:
Their flesh shall dissolve while they stand on their feet,
Their eyes shall dissolve in their sockets,
And their tongues shall dissolve in their mouths.
13 It shall come to pass in that day
That a great panic from the LORD will be among them.
Everyone will seize the hand of his neighbor,
And raise his hand against his neighbor’s hand;
14 Judah also will fight at Jerusalem.
And the wealth of all the surrounding nations
Shall be gathered together:
Gold, silver, and apparel in great abundance.
15 Such also shall be the plague
On the horse and the mule,
On the camel and the donkey,
And on all the cattle that will be in those camps.
So shall this plague be.
16 And it shall come to pass that everyone who is left of all the nations which came against Jerusalem shall go up from year to year to worship the King, the LORD of hosts, and to keep the Feast of Tabernacles. 17 And it shall be that whichever of the families of the earth do not come up to Jerusalem to worship the King, the LORD of hosts, on them there will be no rain. 18 If the family of Egypt will not come up and enter in, they shall have no rain; they shall receive the plague with which the LORD strikes the nations who do not come up to keep the Feast of Tabernacles. 19 This shall be the punishment of Egypt and the punishment of all the nations that do not come up to keep the Feast of Tabernacles.
20 In that day “HOLINESS TO THE LORD” shall be engraved on the bells of the horses. The pots in the LORD’s house shall be like the bowls before the altar. 21 Yes, every pot in Jerusalem and Judah shall be holiness to the LORD of hosts. Everyone who sacrifices shall come and take them and cook in them. In that day there shall no longer be a Canaanite in the house of the LORD of hosts.

This chapter starts with the LORD coming with his saints and ends with the LORD being king over all the earth. The topography is changed with the mount of Olives being split in two and a new river that flows year round from Jerusalem. This chapter shows a sure continuation of events on earth as after the LORD is king now all the nations must keep the feast of tabernacles every year or they will get no rain. Israel is seen losing a war and being over run. The graphic destruction of the enemies is given. The whole
chapter the word LORD is Jehova and the key thing to notice is in that day they will say the LORD is one. This is Jesus having saved Israel at Armagedon now come with his saints. This statement the LORD is one is with a new understanding the Jesus is LORD and they are one. Rev shows that Satan is bound for 1000 years. The souls of those beheaded are said to live again and reign with Jesus upon the earth. The book of Jude quotes Enoch saying he saw the LORD coming with 10,000's of his saints. You see there are so many future prophecies that must come and I like to see Luke 1 fulfilled in this chapter.
9 But when she saw him,[fn] she was troubled at his saying, and considered what manner of greeting this was. 30 Then the angel said to her, “Do not be afraid, Mary, for you have found favor with God. 31 And behold, you will conceive in your womb and bring forth a Son, and shall call His name JESUS. 32 He will be great, and will be called the Son of the Highest; and the Lord God will give Him the throne of His father David. 33 And He will reign over the house of Jacob forever, and of His kingdom there will be no end.” Here the title Son of the Highest sitting on the throne of David is told to Mary that her son would be called and his kingdom will have no end. It begins in Zech 14. Which Isaiah also saw,
For unto us a Child is born,
Unto us a Son is given;
And the government will be upon His shoulder.
And His name will be called
Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God,
Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
7 Of the increase of His government and peace
There will be no end,
Upon the throne of David and over His kingdom,
To order it and establish it with judgment and justice
From that time forward, even forever.
The zeal of the Lord of hosts will perform this.

Again his name is Mighty God and a son a child promised the throne of David.

Zacharias mouth was locked and when he named John he spoke by the Holy Spirit.
67 Now his father Zacharias was filled with the Holy Spirit, and prophesied, saying:
68 “Blessed is the Lord God of Israel,
For He has visited and redeemed His people,
69 And has raised up a horn of salvation for us
In the house of His servant David,
70 As He spoke by the mouth of His holy prophets,
Who have been since the world began,
71 That we should be saved from our enemies
And from the hand of all who hate us,
72 To perform the mercy promised to our fathers
And to remember His holy covenant,
73 The oath which He swore to our father Abraham:
74 To grant us that we,
Being delivered from the hand of our enemies,
Might serve Him without fear,
75 In holiness and righteousness before Him all the days of our life.
You see Israel is promised to be delivered from their enemies and to worship in serve in holiness and righteousness all the days of their lives. You see Israel is converted at the 2nd coming. Zech 14 shows the deliverance from their enemies and the beginning of the time where they serve and notice how Israel is now holy and righteous. The covenants and prophecies are affirmed in Luke and fulfilled at the 2nd coming. I can link hundreds more scriptures to this timeline and fulfillment but safe to say that there are survivors of the tribulation who enter the kingdom age.

fortunately scripture give us rules for how to interpret scripture and as far as prophecy goes my interpretations adheres to the two rules. In Duet 18 But the prophet who presumes to speak a word in My name, which I have not commanded him to speak, or who speaks in the name of other gods, that prophet shall die.’ 21 And if you say in your heart, ‘How shall we know the word which the LORD has not spoken?’— 22 when a prophet speaks in the name of the LORD, if the thing does not happen or come to pass, that is the thing which the LORD has not spoken; the prophet has spoken it presumptuously; you shall not be afraid of him.

Rule 1 what the prophet says must happen or he is a false prophet

Peter gives us rule 2

9 And so we have the prophetic word confirmed,[fn] which you do well to heed as a light that shines in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts; 20 knowing this first, that no prophecy of Scripture is of any private interpretation,[fn] 21 for prophecy never came by the will of man, but holy men of God[fn] spoke as they were moved by the Holy Spirit.

Rule 2 no private interpretation

If you look at my summary I fully expect the rules apply and have made no interpretation other than linking the literal meanings of the converging events. By contrast Catholics teach the view of the Millennium as a heresy and teach all occurred in 70AD. The scriptures are clear as Dan 2 says the stone cut with out hands will descend and crush the image of the kingdoms of man and grind them to powder and the stone will become a great mountain which is a kingdom that covers the whole earth and this kingdom will have no end. The Bible clearly says that Satan is bound for 1000 years while Christ reigns. It shows him loosed to tempt the world into one last rebellion and then that is the end. The great white throne and the new heaven and earth and new Jerusalem come down. There has never been a time with Satan bound for 1000 years. The idea that Revelation was fulfilled in 70AD is ignoring that Israel is back in the land and prepared to resume the sacrifices not done since 70AD. The prophet Hosea rightly saw the return of the sacrifice being related to the return of the Lord. Hosea 3 4 For the children of Israel shall abide many days without king or prince, without sacrifice or sacred pillar, without ephod or teraphim. 5 Afterward the children of Israel shall return and seek the LORD their God and David their king. They shall fear the LORD and His goodness in the latter days.

You see the latter days the return of the sacrifice after many days.. I think from now to 70AD is many days. No king too, Israel has not had a king since Babylon. You see these also fit perfectly with the Zech interpretation I have offered and I have kept to the two rules scripture establishes for interpretation of prophecy.

This is where "those that endure till the end the same shall be saved". After the great trib.. when Jesus sets foot on the earth.. as it is written He calls the nations of the world to Him. Those are the ones He divides "sheep and goats". Not all those that died before and those in heaven with the Father right now.

Truth can not change. Anyone that calls on the name of the lord shall be saved. John 3:16 can not change. WHO SO EVER.. So yes many will be. It will just be a time like there never has been. If one can not live for Christ now...they never would then. Jesus is coming. He went to make a home for all that are His. And He will come back and get them take them receive them unto Him self so where He is they will be. THAT is our hope. Take HIM at HIS word. Know He is coming to get you like He said.. live as if NOW is the time Jesus is coming. You are free. What YOU believe He will NOT force you in anyway.

Are there any survivors after the Great Tribulation started with the opening of the 1st seal.

1st seal : antichrist make false Peace, no wars/conflicts in the world
2nd seal: Peace suddenly removed, people kill each other
3rd seal : Worldwide bankruptcy, a day's wage for a bread
4th seal : 1/4 of the world killed by various causes, swords, famines, animals
5th seal : Massacre of Christians who refuse to worship the beast and the mark
6th seal : A very big earthquake which darken the sun, may be 12-15 SR

1st Trumpet : fire and blood burn 1/3 of forest, hot air so smoky and poisonous
2nd Trumpet: Great mountain burning with fire, 1/3 of the sea dead, 1/3 of the
ship sink
3rd Trumpet : Wormwood star poison 1/3 of the world water source
4th Trumpet : Sun and stars darkened
5th Trumpet : Locust from bottomless pit released to torment mankind 5 months
6th Trumpet : 1/3 of mankind shall be killed by two hundred millions dark force
7th Trumpet : Mystery of God revealed

1st Vial : Painful sore upon man which had the mark of the beast
2nd Vial: Sea becomes blood
3rd Vial : River and watersource becomes blood
4th Vial : The sun burnt mankind
5th Vial : Painful darkness in the world
6th vial : All kings of the world to be gathered at Armageddon
7th vial : A very big earthquake that never happen may be 15-20 SR

Zechariah 13:18 tells us one-third of the Jews will survive, and then in Zechariah 14:16 it states those who survive from the nations who attacked Jerusalem will go up to Jerusalem each year to worship the Lord. So, People will survive. What the actual count will be, I have no idea.

If there were no people surviving there would be no 1000 year reign of those who had a part in the first resurrection

If all are those who has a part in the first resurrection who would they be "ruling" but those who had come out of the tribulation who did not have a part in the first resurrection

Have these things not already come to pass ?
I think we have seen enough killing and bloodshed in the last 21 centuries.

If it continues for much longer I'm going to wash my hands of Christianity.
Well, you can stop attending Church, stop telling others about Jesus, stop praying, but once you have authentically confessed Jesus as Savior, you are His forever.

HalleluYAH Choreography
Translation :
(1) Jesus brought battles to an end as he overcame Satan
(2) Let’s rejoice and glorify Him for he has triumphed
(3) He is the One who overcame all the powers of death
(4) Let’s elevate our voice in praise and rejoice together/ Let’s dance for Him for He is everything
(5) He rose up with glory from the dead on that third day
(6) Thus He is now with the Eternal God -- hallelujah
(7) Let’s entrust Him with our hearts so He may lead them.

May Jesus bless you all HalleluYAH

You need to go read the story about The Restoration of Elijah. Do an internet search. We probably all need that at one time or another.

Where would one find this story in the bible? Just want to look it up. :)

1kings19 on Elijah getting depressed after hearing Jezebel was going to have him killed. And God restoring Elijah who had fled to the wilderness, which Elijah afterward continued as God's prophet. In 2Kings2, God took Elijah to heaven without Elijah dying.

There are some online commentaries about Elijah's experience that may be helpful beyond just reading the the account by itself. Just do a internet search on "restoration of Elijah".

It may also be easier reading from one of the modern english translations at bible gateway. like the Living Bible.
Bible Gateway passage: 1 Kings 19 - Living Bible
Remember the modern english translations, many of them are thought for thought - not word for word like the KJV.
They are helpful however in getting a general understanding of some of the more difficult passages - but keep in mind if you try to rely on them in a debate - you are going to get embarrassed,
