Good Friday 10 April 2020. Today we remember our Lord's horrific death on the cross. He did it through love for is that we may be gloriously saved from sin,death and the enemy. O,what a Saviour that He died for me!

Today remembering Jesus's death on the cross, where he suffered and died for us.
He died for our sins in accordance with the scriptures (1 Corinthians 15:3), he was buried and rose again on the third day.
We look forward to Easter Sunday and the Resurrection.
Jesus lives, and we may live also.

Easter Monday 13 April 2020. Looking forward to further times of refreshing this coming week. Let us continue to pray and encourage one another! God will bountifully bless!

Apart from doing the nightshift Saturday night, and sleeping on and off on Easter Sunday, and even spending my time at home alone, I've had an enjoyable and blessed Easter.
Thursday, I met up with my housegroup friends on Zoom - hadn't seen them for a while. Also took part in an evening vigil on Maundy Thursday.
Good Friday, I watched prayers and readings for the Stations of the Cross, and watched the film The Gospel of Matthew. I had already started watching it, but I watched the later part which included the last supper, Crucifixion and the Resurrection.
I have been regularly visiting the webpage of the church where I grew up and listening to their online sermons. It was the church I attended when I was at Sunday school, where I was first taught the Easter story. Amazingly, one of the preachers, although he is retired now, was the minister of the church when I was a child and always used to give excellent and memorable sermons. I'm told he never used any notes!
