No, it's not. You either did not read or did not understand the explanation given to you.
Let's see:

1. Coelacanth is a whole order of fish.
2. Coelacanth was once thought extinct.
3. Thus a whole order of fish was once thought extinct.
4. A live coelacanth was discovered somewhere.
5. What was once thought extinct, ain't.

Correct?

Wrong. Go back and read the explanation until you understand it. Attempts at strawman arguments are always wrong.

You seem to be very confused. They never found a live Tiktaalik rosae. I can't think of any ancient species that was declared extinct that has been found alive today.
Wikipedia's Lazarus taxon page lists several.

I am sure that there are many. Of course understanding how the fossil record is incomplete and always will be explains almost all of them. What creationists can't seem to understand is that that is not evidence against the theory of evolution and that all fossils found to date, the numbers are in the high millions if not billions by now, have supported the theory of evolution.

Coelacanth is not a species, it is a whole order of fish. We for example are primates and conflating a modern coelacanth with an old one would be as big of a mistake as a man with a lemur. The reason that they were thought to be extinct is that the shallow water ones did die off. Deep sea fossils are almost always lost to time. Plate tectonics means that they will find their end going down a subduction zone.

This is the point where your personal theme tune should start.

Exactly, and they don't seem to grasp how all this works. A herd of velociraptors walking down the street of Billings, Montana today would effect evolution less than a fossil one in Devonian strata.

And what happens when an unfossilized dinosaur
bone is found? There will be new theories, maybe
of wormholes to explain how it could be, because
they will not accept the age as young.
Find us a young dinosaur, for crying out loud, and we will admit you found a young dinosaur. Deal?

For instance we once thought Coelacanths were extinct, but when we found one we realized they still existed. We now acknowledge that. See http://animals.nationalgeographic.com/animals/fish/coelacanth/#close .

So once again, find me a young dinosaur, please.

I think that virtually every geneticist and palaeonlogist in the world would rejoice. For geneticists being able to sequence DNA from at least 65 million years ago (and still be able to be sequenced) and for palaeontologists yet another confirmation that birds descended from certain forms of dinosaurs.

Yeah, for some reason creationists just can't understand that finding a living velociraptor in a street somewhere or a living T-Rex in a street somewhere won't alter the theory of evolution at all. Finding living velociraptors or living T-Rexes would not alter the age of Devonian strata or the age of the earth or the age those fossils of prokaryotes found in some formations of the Barberton Sequence at all. So, I'm not too sure what they're going on about.

Shorter than this one?
That's from that road trip video someone posted here years ago, isn't it?

Did you watch it in its entirety?

It was interesting.

Why? Subduction zones exist all over the world. You, yourself, can even dive into some of them.

Because he finished his comment about a Subduction Zone and his username is Subduction Zone. I'm sorry if the joke passed you by.

Prove them wrong, if you think they are.

The burden of proof lies with the creationists, not us. If they can't support their arguments with evidence, then their arguments are rejected.

How can you show God to be wrong and
science correct?

When you elevate a book to the level of a deity, you should really think about what you are doing.

Interesting how you worded that.

"A book" and "deity."

Almost as if you were making them the farthest distance between two points for maximum effect.

For your information ...

Psalm 138:2 I will worship toward thy holy temple, and praise thy name for thy lovingkindness and for thy truth: for thou hast magnified thy word above all thy name.
