One interesting thing to note is that, so far, it appears that Jones' margin of victory is quite a bit less than the number of write-in votes.

Alabama really is not that conservative. In my town in North Alabama, I counted 17 Jones signs on one street.

Maybe they learned from mistakes. Last vote to elect man who bragged about sexually assaulting women by grabbing their vaginas did not work out very well.
