I was recently watching a conference on TV that was being held here in England and one of the guest speakers was backstage being interviewed. He started to share about a healing he had done on a woman's hand. This particular lady had no hand and he prayed for her to recieve full restoration of her hand. After about two months or so he bumped into her at a meeting and she asked him if he recognised her, to which he replied no. She then told him that he once prayed for her hand to be restored and that God had done it and she now had a new fully functioning hand.
The guy who he had shared this incredible testimony with didn't bat an eyelid, infact he didn't hardly respond. It was as if he sees this kind of thing happening often and to him this was just another example of what God frequently does.

For some reason I have no problem believing God still heals our illness and disease but when it comes to replacing a major organ or restoring a limb my faith becomes more sceptical. Is this wrong? God can raise the dead and I'm still having hard time believing He can restore a limb

Am I the only one who starts asking myself questions like who is this woman? why hasn't she contacted the local media to testify about the power of God and the miracles He performs? Why hasn't her family testified and spread the word about their mother, daughter etc.. having her hand fully restored. What about the surgeons and doctors who knew her before she had the healing where are they? etc...

In this media savvy age we live in surely these kind of miracles would be headline news, wouldn't they?

Has anybody ever experienced such a healing or know someone who has?

Testimonies would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Ok I'm speaking up.... this isn't from my personal testimony but it happened to a girl in my church. She, for whatever reason, had one leg significantly shorter than the other...so much so that she required orthopedic (?) shoes and recieved physical therapy for the back pain, etc it caused her. I had seen her walking around church before. There was a healing seminar at my church and someone got a word for someone with a leg problem. This girl got prayer for her leg. She went to the doctors later that week (the same one she had always gone to before), he measured her leg and found that unexplainably there was only a few cms difference between her leg lengths-something that was totally normal. A girls leg just can't "grow" like that unless God had a hand in it. I regret this is something that hasn't happened to me personally but rather someone in my church, but it did truly happen.

Probably the most amazing was when I watched a college student who had been born severely clubfoot be healed. I saw the bones in his feet re-arrange themselves in front of me. His special orthopedic shoes would no longer fit, as they were now about an inch too narrow.

Creative miracles-- I know this sounds amazing, but I watched as the bread for communion materialized in my hand from nothing. That has only happened once, but it is something I will never forget. It still messes with my mind every time I think about it.

Perhaps it's not 'creative', but these miracles are just so amazing to me:
My father had stage 4 breast cancer that spread to his spine, brain, lungs, and liver (he eventually died from organ failure, but not until living four times as long as they said he would!).. What amazes me about his final two years was that he walked the entire time! After he died we found out he had been walking and functioning miraculously with 9 spinal fractures! Fragments of bone were all over, but NONE of them even touched his spinal cord. and neither did any of the innumerable tumors(over 40) that grew on his spine. THAT is a miracle to me.

He also came out of comas by the power of prayer. And he was on full life support and the doctors said he would die that night, but he was brought back overnight and could live without any support the next morning. The docs couldn't explain that one!

THat's amazing! I don't know how anyone would be able to walk normally with 9 spinal fractures-unless it was from God!

I consider this a creative miracle. My grandson was born premature, and only weighed 2-1/2 Ibs at birth. A shoe box was bigger then he was. He was in the Neo-Natal Intensive care for 4 months, and I watched God miraculously take each obstacle that came up, and deliver him from them. He is almost 2-1/2 years old now, and doing great. He has one more mountain to cross with his liver. The Hyper Portal Vein is collapsed, and he is on meds for this, but you would never know that anything was wrong with him. He is supposed to have surgery for this when he is older, to have a shunt put in his liver. I'm not worried, because we serve a big God who has brough him safe thus far.

Basically, they had a relative who had kidney failure. She went for an op and had one kidney removed. However, her post op condition wasnt good.

WOW Andrew!! I have the chills from just reading this. That is truely miraculous!!!!! The doctors can't expain that one away can they, lol?

^ Cool! Now those are the kind of miracles I know God is capable of. I've seen healings but nothing such as organ replacement. I've seen photos and testemonies of people receiving gold fillings or cavities disappearing from their teeth. To be honest, I've been skeptical of the dental issues, simply because one of the strongest times in my walk I had 2 or 3 teeth pulled. I presently need dental work and fillings/pulling of one tooth unless God takes care of it. I cannot afford a dentist and derntists are not like hospitals.
So maybe you all can pray for one of these creative miracles so the one really bad tooth get fixed. I don't care about gold fillings, just restore it to regular as it was.
Its not I don't beleive, because I've seen a lot, but I have a need at this time and am asking God to meet it without any funny business. Sometimes God answers in ways that make things even harder. For example, recently we expressed our deisre to move out of our apartment because rent is high. Then we expressed a desire to get a boat so we could fish & cruise in the channel. Within a month we received an eviction notice and the first place we found was a boat, which we bought. Ok, thats an answer, but we were forced into it, it gave us financial problems, and has effected our work greatly, also placing some stress in our marraige. The whole eviction thing was because of a misunderstanding between the landlord & my wife who was promised I could live there when we were married, and now they're saying she moved me in without their permission and prior approval. I know we could win something in court over this unfairness (A woman being evicted because she got married and her husband lives with her! ~ they actually had the audacity to say if she made me move out she could stay there!)
Anyways, this is what I mean by funny business in the way God answers desires. In the long run it should be a blessing, but initially it is extremely difficult. On top of it all, its during this very time that my teeth have problems and theres no money for dental work.
So bottom line is, I need a "creative miracle" for God to heal my teeth, and to do so without any funny business.... or at least stop the pain for a few months until we can afford the work.

I know, some of this goes off topic, but it is kind of related to my need for such a healing as is being discussed here. Please pray for us?

That kidney story was so awesome! In fact, I also have one to tell. My friend's aunt went forward at church for prayer one night back in January b/c she's always had kidney problems (she was born with only one kidney and it was deformed) like kidney stones, infections, etc. While we prayed for her the evangelist said "If we believe God can clear up those problems, why not believe He can give her another kidney?" I can't explain the feeling of faith in that place as we all prayed and believed God would give her a kidney. She had x-rays done the next day and lo and behold...she had TWO perfect kidneys! I've never seen anything like that in my life! They brought the before and after x-rays to church one night to show people. Also...there was a lady who lived one state over from us and drove to our pastor for prayer b/c she had a metal plate in her head from surgery to remove a brain tumor. When she went back to the doctor he did x-rays and couldn't believe it...there was no metal plate in her head! The bones were perfect like she'd never had surgery!

Our God is an awesome God!!!

Smith Wigglesworth (I think that's how you spell it) did this all the time. There was one case where a man was born without any feet and came to Wiggleworth and asked him to pray for him because he believed that God would give him feet. Wigglesworth said yes but the man had to stay in Smith's house for a week so that the faith that Wigglesworth had would be imparted to the man. He did this for a week and then went to a shoe store. He still had no feet but asked the assistant for a pair of shoes. The assistant looked down at the man's legs, saw that he did have any feet and asked sarcastically, "What size do you want?"
The man thought about this and eventually said, "Size 10 please."

The assistant went to the back, got the shoes and gave them to the man. The man slipped them on and, because he had the faith, as he slipped them on, feet suddenly grew. He stood up, payed the now flabergasted assistant and walked out the door.

You see, it just requires us to step out in faith.
I've heard of healing like this happen in my church. God can do anything, we just need to ask him and believe.

This is my own personal testimony of how I was healed. I posted it over in the testimonies forum, but I'll repost it here for the sake of easy reading. I ... I guess it isn't really 'creative' as such, but it is evidence of how God can use the medium of the internet for wonderful things.

I guess this may be something of a moot argument in this forum, but some of my friends don't believe that the internet, and praying together as a group across the internet medium can be effective. The following testimony needs some added information.


When I was 15 I was playing Rugby Union at school when I was slammed in a tackle, and my left knee was twisted badly in the tackle, and I tore some ligaments. I was in complete agony, and it just never really got better, and the doctors I visited refused to even acknowledge that there was a problem. For a long time I could not walk without pain, and even after several years my knees (I injured my right knee a little later, after giving up Rugby Union and taking up soccer) if I walked for long distances, would just hurt unbearably. I visited numerous doctors, and specialists, and none of them could find anything wrong. I eventually came to accept the fact that this was the way it would be for the rest of my life, and I stopped making issue about it.

A few years ago I was involved in an IRC prayer ministry, with a group of friends. It was awesome, we had some really great times, and shared a great deal. One night we were praying individually for people, and as one of the leaders, I kind of felt a responsibility for other people, but I felt kind of (selfishly) left out. My knees were kind of aching through this time.

To my shock I guess, two of my friends invited me into a private channel, and my friend recieved a word from God. (this had happened before at timely moments) He said "Did you think I had forgotten you, my son?" I was floored! I hadn't discussed this with these two people. I kind of verbally gaped a little. He said "Do you believe that I have the power to heal you?" I gaped a little more and said "Yes Lord." Then my friends laid hands on me in the spirit and prayed for my healing. The Lord through my friend said "Your faith has healed you." I felt a... a kind of adrenaline rush through my body like a cold, but refreshing wave.

When I stood up, my knees were fine, and to this day I have never suffered that pain in either of my knees again. I have injured my knees several times since, but they have always healed quickly, and there are no long-term pains any more. I suffered 5 years of incredible pain, and to have that gone in an instant, is indescribable.

Wow, I mean, what can I say other than Thankyou Lord.

Well i dont' know if anyone will read this or not but i was totally healed of what the doctors called cancer. the did tests and said i had it i went' in for a biopsy and when they did the biopsy the said "I can see it and it is smaller than we thought" (Praise God!) but then the test results came back and there was nothing and then the couldnt' find it anymore (Praise God!!) so i was totallyhealed. I true progressive miracle documented by science. I have tons of other stories too my church holds miracle crusades every month and we see hundreds of miracles every meeting.........

Many years ago in Albuquerque, I asked Francis Hunter and her husband to pray for me. One of my legs was shorter than the other--by about 3/4". They called me up on stage, had me sit with my legs out, your could see the discrepancy. Then they prayed for me. In front of several thousand people, my leg grew out.

I believe that God can do miracles, and does them all the time. We don't give Him credit. My joints were aching, and I prayed for a miracle. The aching stopped.

Now here is the strange part. Many times I have felt strongly led to pray for people who had some form of arthritis, or other aches in their joints. I have seen God heal again and again! The last case was at my gym. This lady then began testifying, telling some of the trainers. I think that they don't know what to think. One of them approached me, and I told her, 'Well, this is God.' I don't think she knew how to respond--this isn't a Christian gym.

I really believe that when God heals you of something, He also gives you the faith to believe for a miracle of the same kind for another person.

I believe God means for us to pray for healing, both for ourselves and others. Pray, even asking Him to show you how to pray. Pray, obeying what He shows you. Believe for it, and as He has given you direction, so He will give you the faith.
