    Hello,

Is there a place online where experts in the Koine Greek language of Bible times can be contacted? Having access to such would be beneficial in the study of the inspired text of Scripture!

We teamed up with Faith Counseling. Can they help you today?

I haven't found any such site, but I have found this site very useful for such questions. There are very competent people that respond that there.

For what it’s worth, the Greek Church has maintained the same language in Church services, though conversational Greek has drifted.

I’ve gotten more insights from them in the past several years than in decades of listening to others.

I heard a teacher from elsewhere (not Greek/Orthodox) the other day making the distinction between sarx and soma (usually translated flesh and body, respectively) trying to teach that “sarx” necessarily referred to fallen human fleshly nature. Problem being sarx is also used for Jesus having come in the flesh.

There’s a lot of problematic teaching where people I’m sure have good intentions. But i see things like that shared and spread. So we do well to be careful.
