Christian Reformed Church. A primarily Dutch denomination based in Grand Rapids, MI. Claims to hold to the Three Forms of Unity, but, even that has become watered down. It is sliding down the same road of liberalism that the PCUSA is on. And, honestly, is catching up to that group.
That's my judgment of the situation as well. Except for their terribly unbiblical stance on women in the ministry, most of their doctrine is currently sound, at least on paper. Alas, the church is comprised of human beings, not paper and ink. And I see that many people in the church are emphasizing and preaching the Gospel to a lesser extent. Scripture is less important to them. Their focus is turning towards "issues," things such as restorative justice, environmentalism, and social change. Now all of these can be good things, but the church is about Jesus, not issues. And once the church starts focusing on issues instead of Christ, it begins on the road to apostasy.
That's what liberal churches (which I would call apostate churches) do. If you look at the kinds of activities that occupy the PCUSA, the Episcopal Church, the ELCA, and UCC, you'll find that their primary mission is to advance certain pet issues. Never mind that some of these issues, such as pro-choice and the homosexual agenda, are particularly unbiblical. The larger problem is that while they call themselves churches, none of their time is spent doing the Lord's work.
The CRC has been distracted by certain pet issues. At the moment most of these issues are actually good ones. But I suppose that's the genius of Satan's plans. Distract the church from Christ by giving her other work to do, and then sever her from Christ. Maybe we shouldn't totally give up hope for the CRC. The SBC was once in this position, and they managed to drive out the theological liberals. But the CRC today seems to be where many mainline denominations were fifty years ago, and that's a most dangerous thing.
