The Catholic Church speaks about "the particular judgment" and the "general judgment." Apparently (correct me if I am wrong) two separate events.

Is this the eschatological understanding of Orthodoxy? How does Orthodoxy view the Judgment(s) of Christ?

yes, we believe that the particular judgment is when you die, and then you receive a foretaste of the heaven or hell that is to come after the general judgment at the end of the world.
