Here you can quite clearly see a guy in the background manipulating the space ship.

You can clearly see shuttle commander Richard Truly's face reflected in the shuttle window. You see he is the only one wearing glasses, and the face that appears is wearing glasses, and lo and behold they are filming through the window looking back into the cargo bay where the satellite was deployed.

The people who come up with these videos are truly retarded.

The red chevrons could represent all sorts of things. Wikipedia says:

A site called Hatchwise says:

What thermal images? He is using the footage from NASA. It was recording light in the visible spectrum only.

You think that compiler of the video was able to magically extract infra-red light from the footage simply by using his incantation of "I'm applying the thermal filter now"? That is powerful magic to be able to display part of the light spectrum that was never recorded by the camera in the first place.

I presume what he is using is a false colour filter which is ramping up the contrast then converting the colours to the range used on a thermal camera. His claim that the reflected face of the astronaut would appear in front of the rear of the space shuttle does not take into account the fact that the reflection is out of focus as it is closer to the camera while the more distant rear of the cargo bay is in sharp focus. The strong clear colours of the focused will not be impacted at all by the blurred, dark colours reflected in the glass. They obviously had the cabin lights off while they were filming the cargo bay. Richard Truly's face is only visible when it is superimposed over the black of space.

That seems to match pretty well with what Encyclopaedia Britannica, Wikipedia and the BBC site I quote before say.
