“Looking diligently lest anyone fall short of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up cause trouble, and by many become defiled.” (Heb. 12:15)

We search for many answers to our spiritual problems, and it becomes a physical, and an emotional one-track search.

When we struggle with “anger” and “bitterness” there can be three causes of these debilitating infirmities through: physical, emotional, and spiritual action. The three causes can have a detrimental affect upon our life and are buried deep down within our “soul”, lying within the layers of our “heart”. Good GOD-anointed counselling by the healing ministry can bring our struggles to the surface.

These problems can cause many family and marriage strife and sufferings having a devastating affect upon us.

The key to physical problems is to find out what the physical problems are?

The key to emotional problems is to find out what the emotional problems are?

The key to spiritual problems is found by understanding the physical and emotional problems that has caused the spiritual problems.

The key to understand the healing of these spiritual problems is to understand and have knowledge of the workings of the spiritual (supernatural) realm through the powers of darkness.

Many, see “anger” as the main symptom of emotional and spiritual problems, when in fact, “bitterness” is the causing factors of these problems that also leads to another transgression of “resentfulness”.

To understand the transgression of “bitterness”, we need to understand the “root of bitterness”, that is, what a “root” is? A “root of bitterness” is a source, or a fountain that does lie dormant under the surface, deep down within the “soul” of a person. The “soul” is in fact the “house” that is described in Matthew 12:43-45 and Luke 11:24-26.

Many who bury “bitterness” deep down within their “soul” usually produce an attitude that is sometimes seen as being an “introvert”. The “roots” don’t directly manifest or make them known, but the “roots” are fed by a source of nutrition or fuel that are manifested on the surface through the shortcomings and attitudes of other people, who deliberately, or unintentionally, or unfortunately cause an incident that hurt or offended the person.

Our emotional and spiritual problems are like a “living plant” that shows off its brilliance outwardly, and is controlled by its “root system”. The root’s task is not to show itself on the surface, but to develop under the surface, and the fuel that is needed to produce its outward appearance on the surface, such as our body language, attitude, and shortcomings.

Countless women who have been raped, molested, abused, and traumatised by physical actions and they develop an emotional and a spiritual symptoms that can manifest into a “stronghold” causing bondage. The condition manifests from not the physical side of the action, but usually from the emotional side as they believe that they allowed the rape, molestation, or abuse to happen, and then the trauma from the physical action takes up residence within their “soul”, their “house”.

Many people build up a “stronghold” within their lives that turns into “bondage” and becomes a “root of bitterness”, lying under the surface for whatever deliberate or unintentional hurt or offence that had happened to them in their past life.

We overcome and conquer those things that would build up into a “stronghold” causing our “bondage”, by “forgiveness” and “love”; and we “remember no more”, the same as our Lord Jesus Christ did when HE forgives us. In doing so, then the consequences of these causes have no legal rights to produce a “root”, therefore, eliminates anything that can be emotional or spiritual.

When these causes are allowed to manifest into “trauma”, then the problems begin, and the consequences of those causes settle deep down within our “soul”, the “house”, and can lead to “demonisation” through demonic spirits gaining access into a person's life through the trauma of those physical actions of rape, molestation, and abuse.

What settles into our “soul”, the “house” is not the physical action, but the “root of bitterness” that produce unhealthy emotional feelings that build up within us!

Satan’s forces “roam around like a roaring lion seeking whom they can devour” when “anger”, “bitterness”, “resentfulness”, and “unforgiveness” is in our lives, these are the “wide gates to destruction” (Matt. 7:13-14), giving place to Satan and his forces causing the development of spiritual, mental and physical bondage through our “strongholds”.

Mental disorder by the secular and world system of medical diagnosis understand how emotional problems can manifest in the “natural realm”, but they don’t understand the Christian knowledge of spiritual problems that manifest in the “supernatural realm”, as medication isn’t the answer to spiritual problems.

We need to understand the “earthly and heavenly things” fully; and understand level of “heart soil” of the six types of Christians within the Body of Christ that is described in “The Parable of the Sower, Wheat and Tares” (Matthew 13:1-30), such as: wayside, stony, thorny, 30-fold, 60-fold, and 100-fold. These levels are the governing factors of being “empty, swept and put in order” and being “filled, cleansed, purified, in submission to our Lord Jesus Christ and resisting Satan and his forces” (James 4:7-10).
