Trump Should (Probably) Be Worried About This Subpoena


The inaugural committee raised $107 million, close to double the previous record. Where did it all go?
The wheel of investigations related to President Trump has spun back around to his inaugural committee. On Monday, federal investigators issued a wide-ranging subpoena for officials managing the nonprofit organization to turn over documents related to donors, contractors, disclosure filings and more. Reportedly of interest are a host of potential violations, including money laundering, election fraud, the possibility the committee made false statements to the Federal Election Commission and the possibility the committee accepted foreign contributions, which is illegal. The inaugural committee brought in a record $107 million in donations and, somehow, spent nearly all of it. President Obama’s 2009 inaugural committee raised a then-record $55 million (Obama’s 2013 committee raised $43 million).

Ask John Gotti. The worst part of it is Trump really doesn't know how much Mueller knows. But the inauguration committee left a pretty good paper trail. The accountants will look it over and see what happened.

...so all those people surrounding him (and getting closer and closer to the "inner circle") that have been arrested, tried and convicted are just mythical? Because if you wanted to see what "keep looking till they find something" (which they never did) you could look at President Trumps much ballyhooed "Search for those almost 3,000,000 illegal voters!" committee. Remind us again: how many illegal voters did they find? Or perhaps the "BEN-GHA-ZI!" search for evidence of wrong doing on Sec. Clinton's part. Maybe you could remind us of when those arrest warrants were issued for her? What were her trial dates? And the verdict they reached? Because from where I'm sitting? It sounds suspiciously like, with 37 indictments, a bunch of convictions (with more to come) and the report not even released yet, there's a whole LOT to find with out having to "find anything anyway". Here's something to look over while waiting for the report:
