Ann Coulter Supports Amy McGrath And Calls For Mitch McConnell’s Defeat

Things are getting really weird as conservative Ann Coulter tweeted praise for Democrat Amy McGrath, and called for Mitch McConnell’s defeat.

Coulter tweeted:

Either Ann Coulter’s Twitter account has been hacked, or something really bizarre is happening. It is easy to see why any true conservative would be drawn to the moderate veteran McGrath, and also why any real populist conservative would be repulsed by Mitch McConnell.

Outside of Donald Trump, no Republican is the embodiment of being owned by the big money elite than Mitch McConnell. The Senate Majority is why the Senate is broken and has stopped responding to the will of the majority.

One should never read too much into a single tweet, but Coulter has been growing more disgruntled with the Trumpian Republican Party for years, but this is still strange, and for one moment, many on the left may actually agree with Ann Coulter about something.

That's just... unbelievable... (Barbarian checks)...

Uh, yeah, it looks like it's real. A year ago, if you wrote a summary of events so far this year, people would have thought you lost your mind.

Wow, this is something I would never have imagined even though I had read what Coulter had written about her change of opinion about Trump.
I'm with her on Amy McGrath and intend to make a donation to her campaign.

It is getting really strange there are now three or four very conservative Republican groups campaigning against Trump and for Biden. Some retired military has as well.

Most conservatives have about as much affection for Senator McConnell as Democrats had for Senator Hillary Clinton. He's never been popular among the base.

The left is really good at imagining divisions among GOP voters.

So you're saying that they are divided on McConnell?

The left is really good at imagining divisions among GOP voters.

Never thought of you as being leftist.

Ann has her own agenda and has demonstrated time and again her intolerance for those within the party who may not be in lock step. I am sure she has many issues with the President as do many people but if the choice is the progressivism of the Democrats, aka socialism at this point, or Mitch who to give him credit did put judicial nominees through although I do not agree with him on all positions. I can live with some disagreement but to support a modern Democrat, no, I cannot do that.

It is getting really strange there are now three or four very conservative Republican groups campaigning against Trump and for Biden. Some retired military has as well.

Given Trump's betrayal of our Kurdish allies, his pardon of a war criminal detested by his own troops, his use of the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of staff for a cheesy Bible photo op, his plans to use military force to crush protests, and his support for removal of Capt. Crozier, I am surprised that he has any support at all in the military.

Barbarian checks:
Last December:

Half of active-duty military personnel contacted in the poll held an unfavorable view of President Trump, showing a continued decline in his approval rating since he was elected in 2016.

Trump’s 42 percent approval in the latest poll, conducted from Oct. 23 to Dec. 2, sets his lowest mark in the survey since being elected president. Some 50 percent of troops said they had an unfavorable view of him. By comparison, just a few weeks after his electoral victory in November 2016, 46 percent of troops surveyed had a positive view of the businessman-turned-politician, and 37 percent had a negative opinion.

June 4:

Loyalty to Trump erodes over his truculence on use of military
In an extraordinary dissent, Defense Secretary Mark Esper — brought in by Trump last year to be a pliant Pentagon chief — went public with his opposition to using active-duty military forces for law enforcement in containing current street protests. Esper said the Insurrection Act that Trump has threatened to invoke should be used “only in the most urgent and dire of situations.” Esper declared, “We are not in one of those situations now.” The National Guard is best suited to back up local law enforcement, he said. Esper’s comments reflected alarm among top Pentagon officials that the military would be seen as participating in a move toward martial law, The New York Times reported.

Gen. Mark Milley, the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, sent a message to top military commanders on Wednesday implicitly defending the constitutional right to protest. “We all committed our lives to the idea that is America — we will stay true to that oath and the American people,” Milley said.

Who is Ann Coulter

Best-selling author, major influence on the right. Appeals more to the educated right than the guy living in his parents' spare room.

and why does it matter?

One more conservative who realizes what a train wreck Trump is for the conservative movement.

Just to note: the guys on the left living is his parents spare room - are out - burning down minority businesses and shooting people

Actually, you got that wrong...

Police claim they found "Boogaloo" movement-linked messages scrawled in blood. One read, "I became unreasonable"
“Boogaloo boy” killed officer, used BLM protest as cover: prosecutors

The founder of St. Paul’s Black Lives Matter chapter denounced the violent protesters who blocked a major interstate and attacked police officers Saturday night in the Twin Cities, saying they did a disservice to the officers trying to maintain order and that their actions did nothing to further the group’s goals.

Rashad Turner, who leads Black Lives Matter in St. Paul, tells TIME that he blames much of the violence on people who he says weren’t from the area.

“There were people outside of the community I didn’t recognize,” he says. “They were doing stupid stuff, and it’s something we don’t tolerate.”

People know the right wing extremists are doing this. Did you really think it wouldn't be found out?

I would not disagree. I had far less issues with Democrats prior to the progressives who emerged from the shadows of the former Communist Party of America. In fact, then, though we disagreed, we could get along. Not so much now. If the democrats could regain control of their party I would be less inclined to be partisan.

Ironically, you guys were claiming Biden was out of step with his party because he was a centrist. Now he's running things. And it's one reason the democrats are getting more donations and Biden has such a huge lead; Americans are looking for a centrist who has a practice of reaching out to people with whom he disagrees, to find common ground.

Biden is precisely the leader we need right now. People are realizing that Trump is pulling America down, and they want a leader they can look up to for a change.

That is laughable. Biden has demonstrated after the primary he is certainly not a centrist. He is as radical as Bernie or AOC. They are leaders on his team and his recently announced policies are the policies of the socialist left. Biden is not the answer. I would rather have four more years of the President with all his faults than even one year of Biden, which ironically is all you will likely see before he is replaced by the VP for some reason or another. I don't think I ever bought the notion that Biden was a centrist, that was what the media portrayed but to hear him one knows better. He cannot hold together long enough to get through a pre-planned event. Just recently they ended it mid session and faded him out while the person was in mid question. It is abysmal by any standard. The President is no gem but the option is worse.

And there people who don't give a damn about left or right who will go to any protest for the simple reason that they enjoy violence and vandalism.

Actually, it's generally leftists who attend protests and act with violence and vandalism. When Obama was president, there were the conservative tea party protests. They were peaceful and didn't have any violence or rioting. As for the BLM protests/riots, not so much.

Perhaps this is just the start of things to come with conservatives turning on each other and eating their own!

What's really weird was the Trump White House orchestrating a campaign to undermine the public's confidence in the nation's foremost authority on infectious diseases!

Dr Fauci, the most popular man in America, possesses that rarest of all qualities in the Trump Administration, speaking "truth to power" - he quietly "stared down" the President and his merry band of "deplorables," making them "blink" first!

After each and every serial shooting, gun owners are quick to point out how unfair it is to group them together with those committing illegal acts, so why do conservatives see nothing wrong with labeling those on the other end of the political spectrum who are peacefully protesting of being guilty of violence and vandalism?

The legitimate protesters demonstrated during daylight hours - it was the criminal element who tended to come out during the night with a totally different agenda!
