Some of you may already be familiar with this because you attend Ordinariate parishes or otherwise converted from Anglicanism, but this is called The Prayer of Humble Access, and it was approved for the Ordinariate. It's a great prayer to prepare for receiving the Eucharist.

We do not presume to come to this thy Table,
O merciful Lord, trusting in our own righteousness,
but in thy manifold and great mercies.

We are not worthy so much as to gather up the crumbs under thy Table.

But thou art the same Lord whose property is always to have mercy.

Grant us therefore, gracious Lord,
so to eat the flesh of thy dear Son Jesus Christ,
and to drink his Blood,
that our sinful bodies may be made clean by his Body,
and our souls washed through his most precious Blood,
and that we may evermore dwell in him, and he in us. Amen.

It is indeed a beautiful prayer - full of deep meaning and one I said for many years .
I'll add to the thread with a Pre-Communion prayer said [ not sung as is the rest of the Liturgy ] by the Ukrainian Greek Catholics .

I believe, O Lord and confess that You are truly Christ, the Son of the living God, Who came into the world to save sinners, of whom I am first. Accept me this day, O Son of God, as a partaker of Your mystical Supper. I will not tell the mystery to your enemies, nor will I give You a kiss as did Judas, but like the thief, I confess to You:

Remember me, O Lord when You come into Your kingdom.
Remember me, O Master, when You come into Your kingdom.
Remember me, O Holy One, when You come into Your kingdom.

May the partaking of Your Holy Mysteries, O Lord, be unto me not for judgement or condemnation but for the healing of soul and body.

God cleanse me of my sins, and have mercy on me.
I have sinned without number, forgive me, O Lord
God be merciful to me, a sinner.
