Here’s a sample letter that seeks to persuade organizers to do what is right, out of genuine empathy for those who participate in such events.

Many Catholics and other Christians instinctively know that programs designed to skew the lines between the two sexes are fundamentally unhealthy for society and for the individuals involved, but few have clarity or confidence in how to respond.

Yes, this is harmful to kids and families. Yes, it undermines the development of chastity and other virtues. And yes, it offers confusion and a counterfeit response to the fundamental question, “Who Am I?” that Pope St. John Paul II so eloquently explored in his “Theology of the Body” series of talks early in his pontificate.

So this letter attempts to offer a way to respond to those organizing such events as an appeal to do what is right and decent and out of genuine empathy for those who participate. Everyone deserves to be treated with love, dignity and respect, and these shows are anathema to such treatment.

The fact that anyone think Drag Queen events for children is a good idea blows my mind. Lord, have mercy. There is nothing "cute" about it.

Every one of those actors, including the WB cartoon were doing it for laughs. No one saw it as normal behavior.

A bit different than outwardly raunchy shows designed for the kiddies. Those celebs didn't insist on doing sexual dances for children.

The Right isn’t concerned about drag queens, they’re concerned about people grooming kids.

And folks, there is a difference between cross dressing for a role and drag queens and that type of show.

I think what I said was quite clear. Comparing entertainers, straight by the way, cross dressing for roles meant for laughs as compared to the indoctrination of children by drag queens coming into their spaces today is ridiculous.

Confusing comedy with the perverse sexualization of children that the drag queens are exposing them to. Most don't care what a drag queen does with adults. The anger is the involvement of children in the children’s library, at schools etc.
