Allow the Truth to explain everything

The Almighty God who created us -- loves us and arranged to have the truth about life written for us. He inspired men to write these truths in His Scriptures, the Bible. It explains the truth about the situation we are in, and also contains God’s instructions and warnings, teaching us how to live as overcomers in this difficult world.

God had these truths written for us in the Bible

There is a God
God has revealed Himself in the vast expanse of the heavens (Psalm 19:1) and in nature (Romans 1:20),
and has put the knowledge of right and wrong in men’s consciences (Romans 2:15).
“Only fools say in their hearts, ‘There is no God.’ (Psalm 53:1)

God created everything
“the Sovereign Lord, Creator of heaven and earth, the sea, and everything in them”
(Acts 4:24)

God’s purpose for creating human beings
“whom I have created for My glory” (Isaiah 43:7)
“that we would bring praise and glory to God”
(Ephesians 1:12)
God’s plan for humans was for us to be perfect and holy like He is, and to glorify Him through our lives
and spend eternity with Him. He intended for us to have happy, prosperous, and abundant lives.
But, what went so disastrously wrong?

Rebellion and sin caused disastrous consequences
“From the very beginning, your first ancestor (Adam) sinned against Me” (Isaiah 43:27)
“When Adam sinned, sin entered the world. Adam’s sin brought death (to the world),
so death spread to everyone, for everyone sinned” (Romans 5:12)

Man’s sin nature resulted in sinning and an evil world
“there is no one who does not sin” (2 Chronicles 6:36)
“all are under the bondage of sin” (Romans 3:9)

“we are all prisoners of sin” (Galatians 3:22)
“the wickedness of humanity” (Romans 1:18)

Jesus said to His 12 disciples: “If you then, being evil …” (Luke 11:13)
Paul wrote about: “this evil world in which we live” (Galatians 1:4)

Man was separated from God
This first sin separated Adam (and all future humans) from God.
“It’s your sins that have cut you off from God. Because of your sins,
He has turned away and will not listen anymore.” (Isaiah 59:2)
“You (Christians) were His enemies (in the past),
separated from Him by your evil thoughts and actions” (Colossians 1:21)

Sin and the penalty of death
“when sin is allowed to grow, it gives birth to (spiritual) death” (James 1:15)
“the wages of sin is death” (Romans 6:23)

Physical death • “each person is destined to die once and after that comes judgment” (Hebrews 9:27)
Spiritual death • “Once you were dead (spiritually) because of your disobedience and your many sins … we were dead (spiritually) because of our sins … You lived in this world without God and without hope” (Ephesians 2:1, Ephesians 2:5, Ephesians 2:12)

Heaven and hell
In the Bible, Jesus spoke more about hell than about heaven!
“How can you escape being condemned to hell?” (Matthew 23:33)
“Fear God (with reverential fear), who has the power to kill you and then throw you into hell”
(Luke 12:5)
“There is a path before each person that seems right, but it ends in (spiritual) death.”
(Proverbs 14:12, Proverbs 16:25)

God wants everyone to be saved
“(God) wants everyone to be saved and to understand the truth”
(1 Timothy 2:4)

GOOD NEWS! God’s amazing plan to rescue us starts here!
--------------------God came and lived on the earth as a Man

A Quick Summary of the Life of Jesus Christ

He was conceived miraculously
The angel Gabriel said to Mary: “The Holy Spirit (God) will come upon you,
and the power of the Most High (God) will overshadow you. So the Baby
to be born will be holy
and He will be called the Son of God” (Luke 1:35)
• “… while she was still a virgin, she became pregnant
through the power of the Holy Spirit.” (Matthew 1:18)
The angel Gabriel said to Joseph: “For the Child within her was conceived by the Holy Spirit.
And she will have a Son, and you are to name Him Jesus” (Matthew 1:20-21)

He lived a sinless life
• “Christ, who never sinned” (2 Corinthians 5:21)
• “He did not sin …
He is holy and blameless, unstained by sin … without spot (sin)”
(Hebrews 4:15, Hebrews 7:26, Hebrews 9:14)
• “… who committed no sin” (1 Peter 2:22)

He performed countless miracles
“If they were all written down, I suppose the whole world
could not contain the books that would be
written.” (John 21:25)
He was crucified by the Jews and Romans
“So Pilate, wanting to gratify the crowd (the Jews) … delivered Jesus,
after he had scourged Him, to be crucified” (Mark 15:15)

He was resurrected from the dead
“He was buried, and He was raised from the dead” (1 Corinthians 15:4)

He ascended into heaven
“He was taken up into heaven and sat down in the place of honor at (Father) God’s right hand.”
(Mark 16:19)

Yes, Jesus died a horrible death to save believers
“(Jesus) who loves us and has freed us from our sins by shedding His blood for us.” (Revelation 1:5)
“Christ … offered Himself without spot (sin) to God …” (Hebrews 9:14)

God’s perfect sacrificial Lamb died for believers
“God paid a ransom to save you … the precious blood of Christ, the sinless, spotless Lamb of God.”
(1 Peter 1:18)
Father God “sent His (one and only) Son as a sacrifice to take away our sins.”
(1 John 4:10)

God chose to reveal Himself to us as 3 Persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.
We speak of God being a Triune Godhead, or as the Trinity.

Jesus came to tell everyone the truth
“I was born and came into the world to testify to the truth.
All who love the truth recognize what I say is true”
(John 18:37)

God’s gift is for everyone who believes in Jesus
“this Good News (the Gospel) about Christ. It is the power of God at work,
saving everyone who believes” (Romans 1:16)
“through this man Jesus there is forgiveness for your sins.
Everyone who believes in Him is declared right with God” (Acts 13:38-39)

Jesus is the only One who can save us
“I AM the way, the truth, and the (eternal) life.
No one can come to the Father (for salvation) except through Me” (John 14:6)
There is salvation in no one else!” (Acts 4:12)

By God’s grace, not our good deeds Grace is unmerited favor
“God saved you by His grace when you believed. And you can’t take credit for this; it is a gift from God. Salvation is not a reward for the good things we have done, so none of us can boast about it.” (Ephesians 2:8-9)

John warns us to believe in Jesus and His words
“Anyone who believes in God’s Son has eternal life. Anyone who doesn’t obey the Son
will never experience eternal life, but remains under God’s angry judgment.” (John 3:36)

Believing in Jesus will change you!
“But to all who believed Him and accepted Him, He gave the right to become children of God.
They are reborn — not with a physical birth…but a birth that comes from God” (John 1:12)
“… the Holy Spirit gives birth to spiritual life. So don’t be surprised when I say,
‘You must be born again.’
(John 3:6-7)

This can be “the new you”
“anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person.
The old life is gone; a new life has begun!” (2 Corinthians 5:17)
“have been transformed into a new creation.”
(Galatians 6:15)
“For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus
the new man, which was created according to God” (Ephesians 2:10, Ephesians 4:24)

1st birth - born of the flesh2nd birth - born of the Spirit

You can be “born again” right now
First understand … “Each of you must repent of your sins and turn to God
… for the forgiveness of your sins. Then, you will receive the gift
of the Holy Spirit.” (Acts 2:38)
“God has also given the Gentiles the privilege of repenting
of their sins and receiving eternal life.” (Acts 11:18)

Be sorry for the sins that you have committed. Now, turn from them … change your heart and actions!

“If you openly declare that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart
that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.
For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God,
and it is by openly declaring your faith that you are saved.”
(Romans 10:9-10)

If you want to accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior …
then pray sincerely from your heart something like this:

“Dear Jesus … I am a sinner, and I ask you to forgive me.
I believe you died for my sins and I really thank you for it.
I wish to receive you now as my personal Lord and Savior.
And I ask you to please manage my life from now on. Amen.”

Believers are given the Holy Spirit to dwell inside
Jesus promised: “He (Father God) will give you another(*) Helper who will never leave you.
He is the Holy Spirit,
who leads into all truth … and later will be in you.” (John 14:16-17)
(*)
Greek “allos” = “another of the same kind”
“God has identified us as His own by placing the Holy Spirit in our hearts
… the Holy Spirit is giving (spiritual) life” (2 Corinthians 1:22, 3:8)
“You have received the Holy Spirit
and He lives within you” (1 John 2:27)
Other INSIDE verses: Romans 8:11, Galatians 4:6, 2 Timothy 1:14, 1 John 4:12-16.

Believers are given peace by Jesus
“And His name will be called … Prince of Peace …” (Isaiah 9:6)
“the peace I give is a gift the world cannot give.” (John 14:27)
“For Christ Himself has brought peace to us.” (Ephesians 2:14)
“God’s peace exceeds anything we can understand” (Philippians 4:7)

Believers are set free from being slaves of sin
“… so that sin might lose its power in our lives.
We are no longer slaves to sin … we were set free
from the power of sin … dead to the power of sin” (Romans 6:6-11)
“So if the Son sets you free, you are truly free.” (John 8:36)

FREE from bondage/slavery, and FREE to choose NOT to sin!

Believers are called to honor their Lord and Savior
True believers love Jesus and are open to hearing His words.
He asks some believers: “Why do you call Me ‘Lord, Lord’,
and not do the things that I say?”
(Luke 6:46)
“If you love Me, obey My commandments.”
(John 14:15)
… which He repeats 3 more times (John 14:21, John 14:23, John 14:24).
Does anyone get into heaven who does NOT love Jesus?

Yes I do require more information if you would be so kind.

So I see A LOT of talk about discouraging sin about this track and you are the advocate.

The question I need to know is how much sin is in your life?

Thanks.

That's not a tract ... that's a tome.

Consider breaking it up into many smaller pieces. I used to produce tracts.

A rule of thumb is limit yourself to no more than what you can fit on a 4x7 notecard (both sides). Any more than that and you risk overwhelming the reader.

Check out these professionally produced tracts for examples of content ...

The sin that I am aware of is repented of as soon as possible.
1 John 1:9.

So you do sin. Right.

I sin also,in fact I think it's impossible for man to completely extricate sin from our lives because we will always have our human nature, because we're human. Anyone who says they have no sin is a liar.

My point being why you push against sin so hard when you also sin yourself?

... why you push against sin so hard when you also sin yourself?
Because our sins must be repented-of ...
so Jesus can cleanse us with His precious blood (1 John 1:7-9).

Because no one will be allowed in heaven ...
who is (at death) a habitual unrepentant sinner.

Well that scripture you provided doesn't actually say repent of your sins over and over,it just says repent/confess-one time which is what Jesus taught. A one time change of mind and heart, from heathen to believer:

Matthew 4:17
17 From that time Jesus began to preach, and to say, Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.

I'm not seeing repetition advocated here:
7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.
8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.
9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

Also, you are trying to boast with this method:

Ephesians 2:8-9
8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.

1 John was written to believers ... nothing to do with evangelizing the lost.

I wasn't suggesting 1 John was for non-Believers. When the Apostle John says "we" it's pretty clear his audience is a Christian one.

However, there where obviously some fraud preachers at the time. John wrote against sinless perfection calling them liars but the liars were operating from whithin ,so.

1 John 8
If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.

Also in the same letter John wrote supporting eternal security:

1 John 5
13 These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.
14 And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us:
15 And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him.

I would like to clarify why this "gospel tract"
contains more than the usual salvation message:
It was designed for people who will really
be desperate for the Truth about God, etc.
Because this tract will be used primarily
after the crash of the century in 2019!
Worse than back in 1929.
Remember following 9-11, the churches were full.
That was nothing at all compared to what's coming.

“Little children, let no one deceive you.
He who practices righteousness is righteous,
just as He is righteous … In this the children of God
and the children of the devil are manifest:

Whoever does NOT practice righteousness is NOT of God,
NOR is he who does NOT love his brothers/sisters.”

He who practices righteousness is righteous,
just as He is righteous … In this the children of God
and the children of the devil are manifest:

Whoever does NOT practice righteousness is NOT of God,
NOR is he who does NOT love his brothers/sisters.”
(1 John 3:7-10)

This doesn't actually say a saved person can lose their salvation.

If you believe it does you will have to explain why because I don't see it.

Does one have to be seen as righteous (in God's eyes) to be saved?

I wouldn't say so. Obviously we are saved through faith and even when we ware saved we fall short and are not righteous by Gods standards:

Ecclesiastes 7:20
''For there is not a just man upon earth, that doeth good, and sinneth not.''

I wouldn't say so.
IMO, this thread should be about gospel tracts.
Please start a thread elsewhere about your problems/questions?

Ok if you want me to stop posting in this thread I will do so out of courteous.

you actually invited further questions,so I asked.

I don't have any problems with my doctrines and the reason I'm here is to scrutinise yours if you are trying to spread it publicly.

Anyway, enjoy the thread.
