The thing is, even in 2016, most states were able to thwart Russian interference, although we now know they tried to hack the elections. They're working harder this time, but Mitch isn't taking any chances; he killed measures to put additional ballot security measures in place.

Putin has some powerful help, but it's still unlikely he'll be able to throw the election.
