America is clearly in a Civil War — but it’s a battle of words, not weapons. We are divided, tired, frustrated, and fearful. Second Chronicles 15:5-7 seems eerily similar to our situation: “And in those times there was no peace … but great turmoil was on all the inhabitants of the lands.”

Twitter bans Trump but not the Taliban, Facebook “fake-checks” everything that goes against their narrative, YouTube removes opposing views and the majority of the media is owned by those hell-bent on destroying America.

The vaccine mandates are a power-play as New York and Los Angeles restrict and deny choice, unlike anything we’ve seen before. This week the City Council of Los Angeles approved an ordinance that requires proof of vaccination to enter indoor venues such as bars, restaurants, coffee shops, gyms, sporting venues, nail salons and other indoor businesses.

Public schools no longer focus on teaching. Instead, they only care about indoctrinating. Purity has been crushed and steamrolled as many public schools become incubation centers for false ideology and immorality.

Almighty God has removed his hand from over America because we told him long ago that we didn't want him in our public life anymore, and he isn't going to stay where he isn't wanted. Instead we live in a society that worships money and possessions, murders children in the womb, and takes "pride" in things that God calls an abomination. We live in a society that encourages young men to sleep with as many women as possible, and for children to mutilate their bodies and pump themselves full of opposite-sex hormones in order to gain social capital. Our leaders do not obey God, they think that they are God and churches are hemorrhaging believers by the year because we lionize foolish men who say "there is no God" in our media.

It's no wonder to me that the country is falling apart when you take this into account. But the church isn't dead, it's flourishing in Latin America, Africa, and Asia... where people poorer than the poorest in America are calling out to Almighty God and living out their faith boldly even though it could potentially get them killed by totalitarian regimes or Islamofascists. We have a lot to learn from these people, and things will not get better until we truly humble ourselves and fall on our faces to beg Almighty God for forgiveness for our silence and inaction.
