I need some parts to put together a very simple kids computer for learning software and the such. I have a motherboard and processor and graphics card.

All I need is a case with a 300 Watt power supply, 8-10 GB hard drive, a CD-ROM drive, and a floppy drive. Well, and a really simple sound card too. I need a monitor too, but I figure shipping costs will simply not be worth it, so I'll just have to find a great deal at a local garage sale or something (same could be said about the case).

I figure I can get some of this stuff brand new for quite cheap, but I really don't want to put much money at all into the components. I was hoping to get by with around $50. Just cheap "old" stuff that has long since been surpassed by the latest/greatest.

If you have any of this type of stuff laying around, please let me know.

Okay I have the floppy drive and a Phillips 5 to 1 surround sound card that you can have. I have a few cases here but I will have to look and see what power supplies they have. The mother boards and Hard drives are shot so they wont help at all. I have some old ram around as well. If I remember after choir tonite I will look over my stash for you.

I myslef am looking for a cd-rom, so I can't help you there. I will get back to you soon to see what I have.

Rock on! The only type of RAM I "need" is PC100. Actually, I don't even think I would need it to be that "fast".

Whatever arrangements people wish to make. "Swap" is just a name, but may describe "Hey, I've got one of these I can give you if you've got one of those."

Well guys sorry to say but one of my old friends cleaned me out the other day...I don't have a single thing now...He wanted me to help fix an old computer he bought and i told him to buy a hard drive and a cd rom and so he had about 100 bucks in the project and I couldn't get it fixed for somereason unknown to me to I gave him all my stuff and told him to take it to a computer shop and tell them to make him a computer. I kinda felt bad for makin' him spend money so i just gave it all to him...

So none for yall...sorry!!!
