The Left does not do hero worship or adore their leaders in the same way.
If that woman wishes to file a complaint or just slap him on camera, she should.
I think his lack of social distancing is deplorable in that moment.

Maybe. Or maybe she surmises that if she turned around and smacked Joe a good one right across his face, the media firestorm resulting from her reaction would end up being detrimental to her, so she's choosing to suffer in silence.

I'm comparing Joe's activity (which is decidedly creepy) and how it's airily dismissed by such organizations as the New York Times, while at the same time, they get all puritanical about a cartoon skunk, which, let's face it, harms no one unless you have a kinky enough mind to stretch it way out of context to begin with.

I think people, in most circumstances, see hugs, kisses on the head, etc. as maternal displays of affection for children but when a man does the exact same things all of a sudden it's creepy, etc. as if men don't have the same strong paternal feelings for children.

Maybe some of this thinking is due to the "men don't show their feelings", "men don't cry",...
