Afghans find tons of explosive devices transferred from Iran

If they caught 19 tons, I wonder how much got thru?

Kabul, Afghanistan (CNN) -- Authorities in southwestern Afghanistan have seized 19 tons of explosive devices that had been transferred across the border from Iran, police said.

Iran hates the Taliban. Iran also hates America. Perhaps they're supplying weapons to insurgents fighting both the Taliban and the Americans?

This is hardly surprising. Iran wants to damage America as much as possible without going directly to war. America has damaged Iran with sanctions, so why not aid America's enemies in Afghanistan? Reminds me of what America did against the Soviets in the 80s Afghan war...

Most likely, they were to make EFP(Explosively Formed Projectiles) which are the most lethal form of IEDs and can penetrate pretty much any armor. Then of course, they probably came from China and Iran, then just stamped them as Iranian.
