Islam 101. 400 Christians managed to escape. We pray for those left behind. And the Taliban are no worse than other majority Muslim nations.

Hi LL,

I agree that we should always be in prayer for our brothers and sisters who are persecuted all over the world. As Pete said above, the middle east has always been a hot bed for christians. It's one of the major differences between Islam and christianity. Islam teaches that they should bring pain and suffering upon the infidels in order that they might come to the truth. Christianity teaches that we must show love and compassion to the 'infidels' in order that they might come to the truth. However, there have certainly been times in the history of the world that christians practiced the same tactics as Islam. Even today you have groups like the Westboro Baptist Church group that persecute and bring pain to people in their work to preach the law of God to the lost.
