So, I have Crohn's Disease and a low immune system. My doctor strongly recommended me to get the Covid Vaccine along with the flu shot and various other vaccines because of me being at high risk with my immune system. With Covid he said that he's seen people on their death beds saying that they should've listened to him when he told them to get the shot and that worried me a bit when I heard that. I've seen mixed opinions about Christians taking it. People saying that it's the mark of the beast, etc. I thought that the mark of the beast was received on the right hand or the forehead so wouldn't a shot in the arm not be the mark or am I misunderstanding something? I know it's a touchy topic but I was just wondering if there was anyone here that took it and to get more peoples opinions about it being the mark.

I have had all three shots. The shots are not an mark, the mark happened in Ancient times when St. John wrote to the First century Christians it is not at all for modern times.

I recall quoting the specific passage about the mark of the beast and explained why it could not be the mark of the beast, and received no response. The vaccine = mark of the beast is a conspiracy theory that does not stand up the biblical standard for an actual mark of the beast.

The criteria is that the mark is given to you on the forehead or right hand (same as phylacteries), and this mark is required to buy or sell.

Ask yourself, can you still buy groceries if you do not get vaccinated? If the answer is yes, then it cannot be the mark of the beast.

Ask yourself, do you have a choice of left or right arm for the vaccination? Then it is not the mark of the beast.

Also ask yourself if refusing to be vaccinated results in being guilty of treason in terms of it being a mark of allegiance? If the answer is no, then it cannot be the mark of the beast.

The vaccine = mark of the beast is just a discordian myth used to discredit christianity.

The left shoulder is not the right hand or forehead. You are not required to denounce Christ or to express worship for anyone else before you get it. You are not required to commit any other sin in order to get it. It's not the mark of the beast.

Our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19-20). Therefore, you should take care of your temple. And your doctor, who specializes in how to care for the temple, is recommending that you take the vaccine. Take whichever vaccine he recommended, and if he didn't specify, just pick one. In this way, you will make your temple stronger, and less of a liability to others.

I'm vaccinated and boosted. I'm fine, and I love God.

It seems to me, that in order to receive the mark of the beast, a person has to worship the beast. And this would include denying Jesus.

    1. No matter what you think of COVID or vaccines - be certain of one thing... this is not the mark of the beast seen in Rev 13. Not even close. So don't worry about that part. I would love to do a bible study with you on that topic as it will clear up a lot of things if you are interested.

    2. If your doctor says you should get the vaccine - then you have a very strong indicator that you should listen. And Omicron is WAYYYYY more infectious than Delta -- just look at the huge spike in infections in every country it has gotten into. It is almost sure-bet that everyone will get this one.

    3. I was vaccinated about 9 months ago - did not have any issues at all.

    4. I have not seen anyone on their death bed in the ICU that then goes on TV and says "wow I sure am glad I did not get vaccinated!! Best decision I ever made". The only people I see trying to convince people not to get it - are the ones that never got caught on the short end of that stick in the ICU gasping for air.

I do not agree with that -- but I do agree that the vaccine is not the mark of the beast in Rev 13.

Wow I thought this theory and worry over it were put to rest by now. I too have written several times on this. And specifically on Not only is it not the mark but can't be.

The COVID vaccine is not the mark of the beast.

It is one of around a dozen vaccines taken by modern Americans ...

It doesn't matter if it's even in the hand or forehand the tell that it's not the mark of the beast is that we don't have to deny Christ nor does it limit our ability to worship him (if anything it gains ability) and we don't have to bow down to something else. I agree it's important we consider these things carefully but once we have determined what it's not then be free to get the vaccine. I get there is a lot of overlap with end time senerios and a few years ago we would have laughed at the idea of something like this. At worst it may be a precursor to these end times events as it shows how the world may respond drastically and perhaps with less patience with repeated pandemics but what is important to understand is this is not it.

Vaccines are certainly not the mark of the beast. When the mark comes, it will be clear that you must reject the BiblicalJesus in order to take the mark.

On a humous note: Democrats can not be the beast, because the Bible says the beast will be competent. Republicans can not be the beast because the world and media will love the beast. So until we get a lovable Republican or a Competent Democrat, no American leader can be the beast. Ha. Ha.

Getting the vaxx with your condition is beyond our pay grade. Listen to your doctor or get one you trust more.

My husband wrote this small tract on THE MARK OF THE BEAST. I believe it will clearly answer your questions...it's written very simply and you can follow along with your Bible. :) I hope you find it a blessing ~ Chapter 18: “They worship Me in vain.” | Seek For The Old Paths

The vaccine is not the mark of the beast.

The mark of the beast is associated with a religious power that shows up during the end times. In Revelation the issue is about who one worships .... it's not a physical mark of some kind.

Right Hand = what you do
    Forehead = what you think

It's about what we think and do in regard to who we worship.

    Follow the Lamb.

    Revelation 13:15-18
15 And it was allowed to give breath to the image of the beast, so that the image of the beast might even speak and might cause those who would not worship the image of the beast to be slain.
16 Also it causes all, both small and great, both rich and poor, both free and slave, to be marked on the right hand or the forehead,
17 so that no one can buy or sell unless he has the mark, that is, the name of the beast or the number of its name.
18 This calls for wisdom: let the one who has understanding calculate the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man, and his number is 666.

    Revelation 14:9-11
9 And another angel, a third, followed them, saying with a loud voice, “If anyone worships the beast and its image and receives a mark on his forehead or on his hand,
10 he also will drink the wine of God’s wrath, poured full strength into the cup of his anger, and he will be tormented with fire and sulfur in the presence of the holy angels and in the presence of the Lamb.
11 And the smoke of their torment goes up forever and ever, and they have no rest, day or night, these worshipers of the beast and its image, and whoever receives the mark of its name.”

It's not the Mark. The Mark is taken in association with worship of the Beast; the Mark is a way of identifying with the Beast and worshiping it. Obviously, this is not what is going on with the vaccines - though one can probably twist things around in some extraordinary way to create a link between the vaccines and the Mark of the Beast. Think Occam's Razor: Don't multiply entities (explanations) unnecessarily. A simple theory in explanation of a thing is generally to be preferred over one that is more complex. With the multiplicity of wild, convoluted theories about the Mark of the Beast, prefer the simpler theories of explanation, not the ones that take you through a long series of leaps of logic and ad hoc gyrations of reasoning to arrive at the strained conclusion that thing-x (vaccine, subcutaneous RFID chip, debit card, etc.) is the Mark of the Beast.

What if you're held down and given the Mark against your will? Would God hold you accountable for the Mark given to you by force? Obviously not. No, it is because people willingly choose to take the Mark, knowing that doing so is an act of worship of the Beast, that condemns them eternally. Otherwise, the devil could simply Mark everyone, saved and unsaved, and have them all end up in hell regardless of their allegiance to the Beast. I don't think God's left such a huge, obvious vulnerability in His plan, do you? This is a vulnerability the devil could easily exploit in such a way as to cause all the saved to be damned along with the unsaved!

Concerning the mRNA spike-protein vaccines, you would do well to consider the following:

The DarkHorse podcast with Dr. Bret Weinstein recently interviewed the Christian apologist, Liz McGrew, who has been vaccine-injured. They have a very...enlightening discussion about the suppression of vaccine-injury data and what the suppression does to the medical and political Establishment's claim of "following the science."

I would just listen to your dr who cares for you. I have an auto-immune condition, too and have received both vaccines and about to have my booster next week. We had numerous vaccinations as children and none of them are mark of the beasts. I have had vaccines against the flu several times. I wish you well. Take care and sorry to hear you struggle with crohns. My christian friend struggles with this, too. Be blest!

Personally, while I do not think it is the mark of the beast, I do think it is the precursor. I also think that MRNA is directly related to DNA and that in time, whatever is in the vaccine will cause people to be more compliant to the mark of the beast. As it stood, Satan knew that people have been on the lookout and are adamant about not getting the Mark, so he is certainly planning ahead. MRNA is like a software program, and many people received empty MRNA to be programmed through booster shots down the road. The vaccine is not an immunization, offers no immunity, eradicates nothing, and does not kill Covid. Those are just facts.

There is always the danger of taking verses of the Bible out of context to prove an idea some people have --a NO-No! The "mark of the beast" refers to the mark (called '666') which is required by the first reigning "beast" (the political one; not the religious one to follow); and it will be required (noted as: '666') to be able to buy or sell, or any needs.
This is all after the universal Church: "saints of God", have been called up to Heaven. It is that time told in our Bible as the "seven and a half years of 'tribulation' as soon as the Church is lifted up to Heaven, which I see as occuring quite soon.
If one desires to learn more of this, I am pleased to chat on our Conversation page herein. -1watchman.
