I have Central Auditory Processing Disorder or CAPD (or APD), was born with it. Yet since I started talking about this disorder with my local parishioners and friends, I learned this condition can occur as we age as well. You would know you likely have this if suddenly you find it harder to hear in noisy places (background noise) and that your hearing when tested is fine yet people still seem to mumble around you.

I posted this because I like CF to offer a Learning Disability section of message boards and among these one for CAPD. Such a board could be used by those who suspect they have the condition or who know they do, and those who lived with it can help them find cope, help out with certain issues and bring them better understanding. So what does everything think of this idea.
