My husband told me that he had gallstones. I said, "You should agree to the surgery." No, he wasn't interested.

Then he was sick one January and thought he had the flu. The next week and thereafter I kept telling him he needed to see a doctor. He wouldn't listen to me. By the end of April, he was in so much pain, our son took him to emergency room. He had surgery to remove his gallbladder. It was cancer and had spread to his liver. Now I'm a widow.
I'm so sorry that you have gone through this.

:)

You could look at the odds another way.
Statistically

Yes what are the odds, that 'we' (Mary and I)
could eat, sleep, breathe, chat and surf in THE SAME ENVIRONMENT
for some SEVEN YEARS almost
and, also-shared snacks, water-bottles, shared (divided) meals and, same bedding
same bedroom-window
open 24/7 ~thru wind rain and shine, same washing machine
and detergents ? YET (somehow) NOT BE, in the presence of the similar 'TRIGGER'
[carcinogen] ? However, 'taken-up'

Did you mean .... Do The Math ?

:)

The Math, gives me a 50/50 chance (even)
of, absorbing the 'particle'(s) that 'did-for' Mary
of, absorbing particle(s) from a 'visiting-cloud' that 'we-shared'

We were, 'so-alike'
eye-colour, hair colour, 5 children each, (my second spouse, came with a 17 month old daughter)
both of us had, a middle-child that we had named David
and both of them, shared the same birthdate, ten years apart
and, both of us had been yoked, with unfaithful spouses ~for 30 years+
we 'shared' _everything
~except, her "Liver and Onions" & "Black-Pudding"
^^I would eat 'out' for 'a couple of hours' :green:
otherwise, we were 'so-close' / 'mutually-complementary'
and used similar cooking ingredients and cooking techniques (habitually)

But yes, there was, a 'trigger'
and, I was, apart-from Bristol Trips[x2]
'present' 24/7 and 365 for the six-years, prior-to Mary's diagnosis (?)

So, while, that little particle of radioactive material MIGHT have
been, a discrete PARTICLE ?
one, that blew-in by-chance / came 'locked-into' some morsel, of food / drink
~ Mary's 'ODDS' were set 'against-her'

I will update, after, I have had a scan, which will provide
a clearer-vision of the condition of that area

Statistically it would be very unlikely, IMO, for two people in the same household to have the same serious, 'non-infectious', 'non-contagious' illness within so short a space of time.

It's not a virus, bacteria or germ

It IS, a 'radio source'
a particle too-small, for the human eye to-detect
IS, considerable difficult (near impossible) for the body to
pass-it, through and out, of the body

Question: was it, a single particle, or, did a cloud come drifting-by ?

:D 'Too-many horses' in the race... what, is to come next ?
~may not be up to me

Well I just meant that it would be unlikely for two people to get the same illness within a short period of time, unless it was infectious or contagious and therefore passed between them. However the scan will tell more. I hope it is okay, and I'll continue to pray for you Dave. :prayer:

I was hit, by a reversing-car this-afternoon, as I entered the Asda car park
I had waited on the sidewalk, while she reversed out of her parking-space
and obstructed the pedestrian entrance while, doing that manoeuvre
and only entered after she had cleared my way and here it happened
she had turned about 60 degrees and decided she would not pass-by a car to her front
so she immediately reverses-backwards before I could get clear
Crowds of people were shouting at her to-'Stop'

Anyway, my Saviour Jesus, was with me AGAIN!! \o/
as her boot lid made-contact with my left hip
I kept my feet moving and spun off the car
and without moving anywhere else, suddenly she drew level
with me just gazing at her 'unbelievably'
Had I been closer to her nearside at that time, I might have been crushed against a nearby car

No bruises or wounds
I didn't stiffen with-shock, but just cooly 'WENT WITH THE FLOW'

yes, it was as-though I was watching it happen, to someone-else's body ?
ie: through their eyes
Yes, there I was pirouetting from behind the car as it kept moving-backwards

Wow !
Further confirmation, we cannot know 'the moment'
:prayer:

I kept my hand on my left coat pocket ~while everyone asked if I was then okay
People get robbed when they are 'SHOOK-UP' (shaken)
WOW.... I mean... that really happened, I have never done 'ballet' in my life
Pedestrians MUST walk the carpark, to go shopping  boom!!

um nichts zu suchen, das war mein sinn"

MY Horoscope has nothing-related:
Virgo Horoscope for March 16 2018: You and your closest friend share a psychic bond. You don't have to exchange a word to know how the other person feels. This can be helpful when you are struggling with conflicting emotions. Let your loved one draw you out. By having a heart to heart discussion, you'll have a remarkable breakthrough. Taking a practical approach to work hasn't been effective. It's better to obey your instincts, even if they lead you down an unconventional path. Take a fulfilling job that pays less; you won't be sorry.

:D

blessed!!

Thank the Lord, Bro. Dave, that you were okay, and did not have any injuries! People backing out of a parking lot with their cars don't always seem to watch for pedestrians like they should. God had His angel watching out for you!

Brother Dave,

I give thanks that you weren't hurt badly with the car hitting you. Yes, God was with you. You will be in my prayers and already are.

Update: "It was 'probably' some scombroid-poisoning"
deduced from symptoms
and recalling purchase and consumption of Tuna from a tin of PRINCE'S Tuna
(usually bought in multi-packs of Five Cans)
where, that opened can from Tinned Tuna steaks/chunks contained yellow edges to the pinkish tan meat inside

As Yellowfin Tuna may also be included, I adjudged that yellowing
to be harmless and made a sandwich from it, before, feeding to the cats
and I first became 'ill' a few days-later

I seem to have recovered okay \o/

Amen Brother Dave!

I can't tell you how happy this makes me. I don't mean that I'm happy you were sick for days - just that it wasn't something much more serious to deal with.

:amen: to that Brother Tom :amen:

It was a Doctor's 'best-guess'
following, a pretty-intense, almost three-weeks, of-symptoms
Symptoms, that I had seen so often, in Mary

It seems, that because I was ABLE to consume, so-many intermediate meals
without progressing-to 'immediate rejection'
That WOULD NOT be the-case, if, I actually-had, an esophageal obstruction (tumour)

If the symptoms do not disappear, I will be sent for a scan

Again I thank everyone for their prayers

God bless

PRAISE GOD! It is such good news that it is likely to have been something non-serious from which you have recovered. I'm really pleased for you Dave.

Then it is a good job I was given a good memory (at birth)

I had to come home and work my way through shopping-lists
for Meat, Fish and Dairy Products and declare anything I saw
and may have overlooked....
I couldn't forget that yellowing at the top edge of the tuna in the can
and it was so OUT OF PLACE, (unexpected) that I had picked around it
shied-away from it .....
Trusting Brand Names can seriously disarm your immune-system

This might sound like a really silly question, but does anyone know what colour tinned sardines SHOULD be. (Can you believe I've searched on the web, and can't find an answer?) I've thrown some away because they looked a bit brownish/red, but I'm not sure if that's how they're supposed to look. :D

yes they can look like that

~for-comparison
>> Envisage a whole chicken?
normal colour everywhere but very red in patches on the [THIGHS] drumsticks?
~from rough-handling prior to death

Tuna get similar 'BRUISES'

As for colour ~all the same-colour is a good start
when the colours are 'variegated' you may well have a problem...
My cats seem well enough

The Tuna 'CHUNKS', I usually buy, PRINCES has the colour of TAN (very light brown)
Some tins, have an overall PINKISH HUE ~all ONE-SHADE

You can believe that I will, be much-more careful, in-future
I have had, fish-lenses inside the can... so if, one is, fastidious
you might want to select
a piece of Tuna at the fishmongers and steam it yourself

Life, it has it's ups n downs, doesn't it?

It serves me right ~for, begrudging the cats a sandwich-fill ;)

The dogs enjoy it also ~it is good for them, I'm told
If my hairs go up (in-future) it is, straight-into the bin with it
