Put simply, what qualities of Christ do you see in Trump?

Please think about this a few moments before answering, as this is a question I have been wanting to ask for the past four years and have not.

What qualities of Christ do we see in any of these politicians? That's the question that needs to be asked and answered first.

Not all of the other politicians are either racist or misogynistic. I think that’s a big plus in their favor.

the OP is a good question as I was wondering that myself

I wonder why God who places rulers in place, Why would God give satan a christian/believer to rule satans kingdoms with.

With that said, is really any politician a believer.

You’ve got a point there . But I’ve heard a lot of Christians think he’s nearly a saint . ( slight exaggeration there but frankly that makes me want to heave)

No, it isn't. The OP asks "What qualities do you see in Trump?" Either answer the question with a real answer, or else ignore the question completely. But don't just misdirect to get attention off of the question.

If people were to hold their politicians to a Christlike standard they would not be able to participate in politics at all.

He's shown a loyalty to his supporters rare among political leaders - his judiciary appointments are probably the clearest example of that. Anyone who wonders about his supporters loyalty to him, there's your reason...

Doesn’t seem much of a reason . Disemboweled the EPA . Ignored repeated warnings about a serious pandemic . Encouraged racist and misogynistic activity . Lies repeatedly about everything.etc etc etc Is this what Christian trump supporters really want?

That's a variation of the "do not judge" argument, which generally concludes with "all politicians sin, so my guy is no worse than anybody else."
That's a false distinction. No person is without sin, but Jesus did say that some sins are worse than others. He also commanded us to "judge righteous judgment." We are to refrain from judging when it is not called for or when it serves no purpose, but we are commanded to judge (decide) when it serves a purpose.

I'm going to make a suggestion here. This is a direct answer to the OP's question. It might be tempting to jump in and analyze it, but speaking for myself, I am simply going to treat it as a straight answer to a fair question.
And I hope other people will answer, too. We can, possibly, discuss the answers at a later time, but for now how about we just listen politely to how Christian Trump supporters answer the question?

I voted for President Trump on his stance being pro-life. Also for his stance on christian morals and Israel.

I don't disagree. My only point is if we are to judge the character of any politician we would not be able to vote for them because everyone fails to live up to Christ. Thus there are other standards by which we can judge them and be in perfect accords with the faith. For instance, are they going to do good despite having a bad character or significant character flaws? This for instance would be many conservative Christian reasons for voting for Trump.

Liberals are no better in this regard.

I'm reminded of his recent thing with Joe Scarborough.

There's no evidence that Scaborough murdered his aide 20 years ago, but Trump's been on a rant, insinuating that there's some case that's ongoing and that there are things that should be looked at. He's not doing it because he cares about the woman who died - it's not like he's in the habit of commenting on every unsolved murder out there. He's just doing it to cast shade on Scarborough. Digging this up, using a dead woman as a weapon against a political opponent, not caring the emotional pain its causing her husband and loved ones.

That's heinous. I'm atheist, but I'd never dream of stooping so low. Were I still a Christian, I'd be insulted to have a man who could do something like that stand in front of church and hold a Bible upside down.

Under no circumstances would I vote for a racist . Under no circumstances would I vote for a misogynist . Im not voting for anyone who is anti environmentalist . I’m not voting for a homophobe . I’m Black , I’ve got a biology degree and I’m female .I’m not gay but I know too many gay people who have been harmed . I’m not going to add to my family and neighbors problems by voting for someone who’ll do that on purpose just because they support a foreign country (Israel ) .

What they want is to make Christian sin illegal in a secular republic. Trump's flaws as a man and as a leader mean nothing to them.

I've always said that Donald Trump is a Saul. The people, including God's children, were asking for a king/president and God gave them one, but God is preparing a David. But, just as David knew that Saul was God's anointed and wouldn't touch him, I've stayed quiet because that was God's decision, but just because that was God's decision, it doesn't mean it was God's heart.

I had a dream that Franklin Graham had a light shinning on him and when he entered my dad's bedroom, he turned around, smiled and became George Washington. I hope it becomes true. I can't wait for a real Christian to get on his knees and invite the whole nation to get on their knees and ask God for forgiveness and His blessing.

FYI, I also dreamt someone told me that if Joe Biden wins there will be war. I don't know if the person meant WW3, but I don't want any kind of war.

That’s not the question the OP is asking. Why would you change it to some other question?

It is an interesting question but my focus is more on Trump's policy preferences rather than Trump himself. Supports Israel, supports conservative judges, supports the 2nd amendment, identifies and tries to reduce trade inequities, handles foreign policy better by not embracing globalism first. The jury is still out on his COVID policies, but his initial reaction was slow, touting Hydroxychloroquine might be in error and taking a stance that we should not shut down no matter what seems arrogant. Trump's biggest bust though has been his disregard for sound fiscal policy. Democrats though would be worse in this area, so we have to live with that.
