Many of these destructive initiatives have been around for some time.
Do not get me wrong, the U.N. or any liberal, socialist movements will not come to fruition. Sovereignty of countries will fall, but not because of this, but for a greater cause. The entire world system will fall and be destroyed by God.

...then why do you care?

I'm always amazed at Americans who demonstrate their hatred for American freedom. They are free to move here, speak whatever language they desire, and back whatever policies they feel are beneficial. I put my life on the line to protect their freedom to do so.

I don't. Our country was built as a melting pot, not
multi-cultural nonsense. If they don't want to be an
American, they need to leave, or not come here in
the first place.

English is our predominant language, but we shouldn't become English chauvinists. Americans are notoriously poor at foreign languages. Unlike Europeans, we've been relatively isolated on our continent. But times change. Of course, the systematic study of English should always be required in all grade levels. But Spanish should also be a required subject in public schools beginning, I'd say, no later than 3rd grade. And other foreign languages (especially Mandarin) should be electives. Like it or not, we live in a global economy, and we must prepare our students to deal with it.

BTW: I've heard that reading Chinese--once you know the characters--is not that difficult. Mandarin grammar is somewhat similar to English. The problem is comprehending all the different spoken dialects.

I would like to hear your rationale for making Spanish required in the US school system. I do not see a reason to require Spanish. IMO English is absolutely necessary to function at a reasonable level in US society. All other languages are equally valuable and no one language that is not absolutely necessary to function at a reasonable level in society ought to be forced upon school children. Is there some reason why you would force children to learn a particular language that is not the language of commerce and government in the country providing the education?

My wife teaches third grade here in California and would not agree with you.

Some stores here now look at you like you are lost when you speak English. They prefer (by far) Spanish.

We are giving it away folks.

They want America to resemble their homeland. Many prefer the laws of the country they came from.

For no good reason they are giving their country away. This country's forefathers would roll over in their graves if they knew what was going on.

Hard to believe but, in California it's getting to a point where often we see more Mexican flags than American flags.

Things don't seem to be blending together (Melting Pot) seems to be not working very well.

No, I'm just messing with you. I will have to do some in depth research into the recent history of ever single country on that list of yours to determine if in fact these countries do not have a primary language ... it will take some time ... I'll get back to you ... maybe next year sometime.

No i was serious.

That hunger for absolute power has ALWAYS been amongst us. The problem is, that, just like gremlins that CANNOT be fed or given water after midnight, humans CANNOT be EVER given absolute power.

Well, it depends on the person. King David, King Solomon were righteous, wise men after some lessons they had to learn. A younger Billy Graham could have been given that position and done well. As long as it is a godly man who puts God first, who prays for guidance on a daily basis. But of course this is conjecture.
But fear not, King Jesus will rule soon in a world filled with love and peace ... after He rids the planet of Sin and evil.

These men you mention were not "hungry" for power, nor greedy. EACH of them had a "heart" for the people (well, except King Solomon, who tragically succumbed to pagan gods, building them for his many wives).

I was speaking throughout history, with the evidences of "absolute power" right there, of how corrupt that absolute power can be, and the absolute evil that ensues, along with that absolute power.

Harvey Weinstein had a form of it. And as Meryl Streep said, to her and to soooo many others, he was "god", and they'd do anything for him, even cover up and deflect from his absolute depravity, and fight for political candidates who also support and cover up for Harvey Weinstein, and attack anyone who dared to upset that apple cart, and call millions of people "deplorables" for DARING to support a candidate who threatens to upset that apple cart.

Ironic, eh?

...oh the irony of Trump supporters warning of us of the dangers of absolute power.

Any power not in the hands of the Master is a threat.

They have them convinced that they are the ones that should change. As if they were the ones entering someone else's country.

They look into the mirror and do not realize self-deception is being played out.

You lost me will all the pronouns without antecedents. Try again without all the "they"s and "them"s?
