I suppose it depends on the time spent. It is a better way to 'drop out' than with drugs or alcohol. Does it serve a purpose for anyone else? What does it contribute to others? Does it interfere with physical participation with humanity? Is it creative or productive? Does it benefit intellectual self like losing oneself in a book for hours, days on end might?
True. It's no worse than spending time on social media.
