When doing a random act of kindness, one doesn't expect anything in return.
Nor does one have any ulterior motives.
It's being Humble. It's being kind, and it's being non-Selfish.
In other words, it's being closer to God, because he is those things already.
When doing such acts, one must also make sure that they themselves are safe always, first and foremost.
Have you done such an Act? Or would you like to give a shout out to someone that you know who has done an act? It can be anything from holding a door open, to even someone telling you please or thank you. Some one that made your day, or you made theirs, simply from a hug, or a gesture, or manners, or morals.
The Little things in life definitely go a long way. I Truly Believe that Christmas is a frame of mind that should last year round, and not just during the Christmas season.
I try to have a pay-it-forward mentality, and hope that it has a ripple effect on others. I remember where it stemmed from as well. I use to ride my bike up to this small town grocery store, and buy candy there sometimes. One time I put to much candy on the counter, and didn't have enough money for it. I started to put one of the candies back when the gentleman behind me gave me an extra buck, and said here ya go. I said, are you sure? He said, yeah, it's fine. Just.....pay-it-forward.
