You know, I'm taking a trip to NYC in a few weeks that'll have me go through DC. I was thinking of making a stop on the way, maybe visit a few places, but if this is what a 'normal tourist visit' looks like in the Capitol, I think I'll pass.

Seriously. I'm trying to wean myself off politics these days, too many bad vibes, but I read this and it floored me.

So, beating a cop with the American flag and wiping your feces on the wall is now permissible on a visit to the Capitol to see the sights?

The GOP got more upset about a false story relating to red meat being taken away than they did about cops being assaulted at the Capitol by trump loyalists. Go figure!

Silly me, I had no idea that 'A nice tourist visit' to our nation's Capitol included violently smashing in windows to get inside the Capitol building or breaking into the offices of federal lawmakers. I also had no idea that visitors to our nation's Capitol are allowed to chant about hanging the Vice President and are allowed to build gallows outside of the Capitol building in order to execute the Vice President.
