A New World Order?

A New World Order? Think it’s fake?
Perhaps you need a second take.
Believe your leaders? Think they’re grand?
And that the people they’ll not strand?

Believe newscasters? Trust their words?
E’en if you find their words absurd?
You think tall tales are not their thing?
That we’re not being ruled by a king?

You think all’s truth on a surface read?
Need no investigating anything?
You think folks are who they claim to be?
You’re not being fooled now deliberately?

Think life will now turn out to what you hope?
No chance you’re being treated like a dope?
No chance all dreams will now go up in smoke?
That on your stance, you will not have to choke?

Our trust cannot be stationed in a man,
Our trust needs to be stationed in God’s plan.
And God’s plan is that He should rule the world,
And His plan is what should now be unfurled.

For God created us, His plan in mind,
That freedom from our sins we’d surely find
By faith in Jesus Savior of the world,
So His plan for our lives we would prefer.

So many worshiping all other gods,
While thinking not that this is truly odd,
While taking not time to hear words of God
Which teach us not to follow a façade.

Test the spirits, see from whom they come,
Do not deceivers to you now succumb.
Follow Jesus Christ, and do His will,
Let His purpose for your life fulfill.

I believe we are already under the New World Order. It just hasn't gotten to that point yet where more people start seeing it. It will.
