The author is right about all of it. Shockingly, there is some debate about this among some evil people, some of them who are in the Orthodox Church, some of them who used to be in the Orthodox Church but were expelled for obvious reasons. These people are few and far between, but they are around. May God lead them to repentance.

Okay, for the record, here's what I think:

Some people with are attracted to the appearance of the OC because they buy the notion that it's an unchanged and unchanging perfect shelter in which they can hide from the world - not from sin, even, but from the fact that they are not the undisputed masters of the world. Some of these people hold pernicious, anti-Orthodox and anti-Christian racist ideologies. This is a problem and should be talked about. The notion that this is some kind of scaremongering on the part of @gzt is inaccurate.

St. Paul refers to himself as the chief of all sinners, and we pray this before receiving Communion. The Lord also tells us we must make amends with our brothers before offering our gift, and the prayer books call on us to make peace with one another before saying our pre-Communion prayers.

Orthodoxy calls us to relate to one another in this way, rather than with judgment and condemnation.
