  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

A few questions, I would like to discuss with the Christian people here.

Questions

  • First of all this is not your question. It is a statement to mock God. It’s similar to asking, “did the egg come first or the chicken?”

  • Yes, he knows it. When some believers truly accept God, it because they KNOW it, not just by faith.

  • Wrong. You are not God. God is all knowing, the bible says. Sometimes God allows us to go through different experiences, just because He knows the outcome doesn’t mean He needs to stop them from happening. That is because we have our own choices. He knows the out come of smoking, but allows people to smoke to their hearts desires. He judges us for what we DO, not for what we would have done. God is just. A judge does not judge a person based on what he/she could have or would have done. Think again.

  • I don’t even know if it’s worth my time to answer your questions. But I will, because I pity you. I think you’re losing the point. Read the bible please before you post questions. Everyone in the whole worlds chooses how they live. Everyone is a sinner. The “free choice” is to choose if they accept Jesus as their Savior or not. If they do, then they are sinless.

  • No matter which sex You think is superior or inferior, the world doesn’t evolve around you. God is He. You have the most stupid questions, because they written to mock, not to find true answers. Even if you received answers, you’ll probably never believe. I’ll pray for your salvation.

OP

Alot of people (including some Christians) may take issue with my reply, however it seems to me you are trying to view God in the Finite. You can't or God would not be God. This is what they tried to explain to you with the gravity and omnipotent deals.

It often surprises people to learn that God is not always pleased when people worship Him. (like Cain). We might be inclined to think that God should be thankful for any attention we give Him out of our busy schedules. But worship is not about God's thanking us; it it about our thanking Him. God is not pleased w/just anything we choose to do in His presence.

People want God to save them, keep them happy, be a magic genie, BUT they do not want God to have any say regarding their conduct or services.

We are like children..Do the children get to Rule the parents. Do they always get a say in the way things are done. No. Nor do we, nor should we. Choices are Choices, Free Will is not without consequences--neither is anything in life. For every action there is a reaction--this is God's system as well.

God is God--what you or I believe does not change that. It is what it is. God is the Boss, the Administrator, the caregiver and Parent--He makes the rules--keep em or don't, but we in this country have a hard time with the meanings of words like Lord, Serve, and Master--for we have never really felt under bondage.

God is the creator--so He gets to design how the system works. Do not try so hard to prove God exists, try proving He doesn't--(you can't convince me.)

These are my views and carry some paraphrases from Tozer and John M. Frame.

PS. I have a ? for you--did any of the comments here (after your post) make sense to you?(Many good simple points were made). For someone who wanted to debate, where have you been?
