A Capital Issue

Hello Christian family.

I'd like some thoughts: do you personally ever capitalize when talking about Mother Mary, no matter where the word is in a sentence?

As in, "she" vs. "She", "her" vs. "Her", et cetera

now no debates about worship or doctrine or what not! I know we don't worship Mary! just want some personal opinions.

I capitalize the pronouns and attributes of God out of reverence, out of clarity in writing, and out of imitation of the saints who wrote.

I always capitalized the pronouns for God and Jesus, i.e. He Him etc


Never did for Mary. I guess the nuns didn't emphasise it as much as doing it for Jesus.

I have seen Marian pronouns capitalized before, but personally I don't do it. I don't see much wrong with it, though.

I've scoured doctrines on this too to make sure i was giving proper respect where needed, but I didn't find anything. I don't do it only because in my opinion and experiances I don't want people thinking I worship her as to honoring her.

Personally I find the whole Capitalizing random Words In a sentence thing that Derives from the capitalization of The pronouns for God to be funny. It seeps into people's writing so much That you wind up with Random letters capitalized where They shouldn't be.
