There is a condition in human nature.
It is not a faulting of Gods Holy Spirit.
Rather, the inability of christians in doing their part
in their salvation? The basic cause is selfishness(sin).
It is a spiritual denial of Gods power, coupled with
the the denial of many christians to put their faith into action:
again fear cripples a believer. They know of Gods power,but;
out of fear, refuse to get out of the boat.
The transition of being human on its journey to the
spiritual realm hampers many.
Many of Gods gifts, are dependant upon a "choice"
(once again) to operate within the areas of those gifts.
To operate within the areas of those gifts, is of great
importance in ministry.
God will call only those who have paid a price for
the gift given to them by Him.A novice can minister in
any ministry for their God,but; only the genuinly called
can minister with 100% effectiveness for Him?
The combination of love, faith, anointing of God,and wisdom,
must be in equal proportion to the depth of ones relationship
with their God.When I say (your,their,his/her) God,I refer to
the depth of ones spiritual walk, for all spiritual walks will
never be the same for any two christians.
Salvation is free, spiritual growth is a path you are expected
to do your part in? Spiritual gifts require just as much anguish, and
crying out to your God as salvation did, plus more.
We will pay a price for further seeking out the gifts of our God.
If only the giving up of the selfishness(sin) in our lives.
Whom God calls He equips. A calling of ones God
to ministry,is as distinctive as the opening of ones ears
for the drawing of a heart for salvation.By the time God calls,
it is a matter of "choice",because by that time you will already in
your heart know what He has summoned you to do for Him.
Really only a follow-up confirmation for you, -He already knows.
That confirmation comes in His precise timing when you
are ready to step out upon the waters, you may not feel ready:
but;you have one foot still in the boat, the other on the water.
Anyone, can think they have had a calling, but;a calling
is as powerful as the fire you knew as a new christian,
that burning in your heart. The burning,a confirmation of Jesus
within,is spoken of in Luke 24:32. Tozer, calls it belonging to:
"The Royal Order of the Burning Hearts".
It is a confirmation of our inner man,(spirit) that Jesus
now possesses a true believer. Not all may recognize it at first?
As a christian fulfilling one of Gods ministries, what He called
me to ,was not what I expected, that's why He does the calling,
not me doing the wanting.Again, it is He who knows the heart
of His children.
"Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth,is come,
he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not
speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear,
that shall he speak: and he will shew you things
to come."
John 16:13
"And Samuel said, Hath the Lord as
great delight in burnt offerings and
sacrafices,as in obeying the voice of the
Lord? Behold, to obey is better than
sacrafice, and to hearken than the fat of
rams."
1 Samuel 15:22
" Teach me to do thy will; for thou art
my God: thy spirit is good; lead me into the
land of uprightness."
Psalm 143:10
