Very interesting. I was on a trip to Turkey a few years ago and took a tour of an underground city in Cappadocia. There were several place there that had very clear Christian symbols.

Certainly not underground or in Cappadocia, but the Hagia Sophia in Istanbul is not to be missed if you ever go there. It was built, I believe, in about AD 535
