Expect nothing but diversions in this thread to distract from the fact that 71% of Americans believe the United States is on the wrong track. They're already downplaying the fact that democrats were roundly defeated in Virginia and elsewhere on Tuesday's election because people want a change in direction away from where we're heading.

I can probably agree with that. Not sure what alternative we have though over the next 3 years and we’re yet to see what the GOP comes up with as a solution.

Here is polling of that question going back to 2016.

January 14 2021 was the peak in that time period at 81% and their most recent data point puts it at 62% on the first of this month so they differ from the NBC polling a wide bit.

Maybe I am little rusty with US constitution but if I remember correctly, none of these matter to Joe Biden, he won the election and he is president until Jan 2024. Everything else is noise.
