P we are well aware of what Greg just said on bsda and are trying to straighten it out. DANNY SHELTON IS NOT RESIGNING AND WILL CONTINUE HIS ADMINISTRATIVE DUTIES AT 3ABN. DOUG WILL BE PRESIDENT/DIRECTOR OF THE MERGER BUT WILL NOT BE INVOLVED IN DAY TO DAY OPERATIONS!
This is not hard to understand.

 

Who will be in charge of day-to-day operations?

 

Peaceful, the same person who has always been running the day to day operations in the last 20 years!

What are the chances it would land smack dab in July?

 

Will Danny Shelton continue to be president of 3ABN?
Will Danny Shelton be working under Doug Bachelor?
Will "The Merger" be a parent corporation of sorts?

 

Does this mean that Danny is taking a demotion?

 

This endeavor will not be a "unified but separate" situation. The two ministries will join together as one being jointly identified by both names as long as necessary, but eventually will likely be known as 3ABN. 3ABN has much greater world wide recognition and this makes the most sense.

Organizational structure will undergo some tweaking with both Doug and Danny being intricately involved in the new ministry. The only other area of organizational change will be a melding of the two boards, the particulars to be decided in the future. There is no upheaval, but rather the formation of a stronger organization to deliver God's last day message to a wanting world - and even the devil himself will not succeed in stopping the spread of the message of salvation.

The new entity is expected to gain the full support of the organized church and associations such as ASI indicating that there is widespread support of Doug, Danny, and both ministries.

Gailon's speculation is merely that, or possibly wishful thinking. There is no connection between Linda changing legal representation as this has been on the table for some time and took on serious tones well before any change on Linda's part - no one is running scared contrary to what Gailon would have you believe.

 

That makes sense.

 

The original post made by Observer/Greg Matthews over on another forum this morning has been updated with some important information. (In Red Below)
"Yesterday, April 18, Elder Doug Batchelor, of Amazing Facts, addressed the Board of the Sacramento Central SDA Church in regard to some changes in his duties. As I write this, Elder Batchelor is in flight to the HQ of 3-ABN, where in a special TV program, these changes will be announced. Then tomorrow, Elder Batchelor will fly back to Sacramento to preach Sabbath.

These changes have been approved by the President of the General Conference, the President of the NAD, ASI, and the Executive Board of 3-ABN.

Danny Shelton is resigning from his position as President of 3-ABN. I do not know, at this point what continued role Danny Shelton will have in the administration of 3-ABN. He is expected to announce today, that he wants to have more free time to devote to however he wants to spend his time.

Elder Doug Batchelor will become President of 3-ABN.

The two ministries are expected to continue but under the united leadership of Elder Batchelor.

I just got off of the telephone from talking to Molly at 3-ABN.

She confirms the basic story that I have posted.

In regard to my question as to whether or not Danny Shelton will step down as President, she tells me that Danny has informed the Board that he wants to step down. As she understands it, a final decision has not been made as to whether or not Danny would step down.

Without revealing my source, I suspect that Danny Shelton and Dough Batchelor have reached an agreement on this, which Molly may not be aware of, and that my announcement that he was resigning as President is correct."

It will be interesting to see what is actually said on 3abn Today Live this evening!

 

What is an "AUReporter" and why would Gailon put this in ?

Now onward to point out the subtle misinformation and insinuations.

Linda "firing" someone? But this was reported as an attorney withdrawing from the case. If he was fired, why was he fired? "Aggressive" - in what way can you document this aggressiveness? Surely we can't just take your word for it, now, can we?

But if they were leaking quietly, you would not surely take hearsay? You would demand documentation for this, surely?
Note the bolded part above? Trying to mislead and try to present as fact something that you cannot even confirm.

Something seems strange in this entire posting. Usually Gailon/Pickle/anti-3ABN gang write their words as fact. But this entire posting seems to be filled with words that hedge their bets...

Looks like your "very aggressive" counsel is aggressively telling you to use words that save you from being sued for libel?

I'm a little confused here. When exactly did you poll "most Adventists" and where is this documented? "Most adventists" would have to mean more than half of the total world-wide membership and did you document this poll? At last count, that would mean that oh, about, 7 MILLION Adventists told you in some form that there has never been a Biblical basis...

Now I will say it once again, Gailon. You cannot declare royalties you have NOT made. Which part of this simple statement seems unclear to you? And to you, Daryl, since you posted it for him?

For the record, will you also state that Linda Shelton was still Vice-President of 3ABN at the time of this case? Will you, in the interest of truth, also point out that the judge noted discrepancies in Linda's testimony in order to determine the tax exempt status of 3ABN?

I have to ask, what is the relevance here? Yes, of course! Insinuate now that something must be wrong with Amazing Facts!

Insiders? Have made it clear? To you? The website states this as fact. Why would you use "allegation" here? Why would insiders have to "make it clear" to you when it is on the website for the whole world to see?

But your website save3abn (at the bottom it says "NOT") already presents these victims - as real victims - with emails from "victims" and a mother, too? Surely you would point out on your website that these are "alleged" victims, right? Quick! Scoot over there and change it!

 

Ok, I'm going to answer this one...

Let's say Danny is taking a demotion. That pretty much puts to rest every slander/slime uttered in bsda (sda they are not!) - let me quote some ugliness from memory - "Danny calls himself a god" "Danny believes people should bow down and worship him" "Linda refused to worship Danny and so she was fired"

Now how does that work with a demotion? Your "side" has always said that Danny was an egomaniac, unwilling to relinquish power, thought of himself as a god, and other nonsense.

Now all of a sudden he has demoted himself. How does that work with your allegations?

At this late stage, given what you have posted so far, it's hard to believe that you are even looking for truth. I have been told by my friends that allegations regarding Doug are beginning to surface...at that s(p)ite.

 

Actually, it would imply that he got cornered and his hand was forced.

 

You know, Gailon, as a reporter you are kind-of, useless. Do you really need "several sources" to express concern? Let me give you a little journalistic help here - "several sources, employed in positions of responsibility at 3ABN, AF and NAD, have expressed concern..." but I digress.

Forgot to hedge some sentences here, Gailon. You need to clear every foot-in-mouth statement from your lawyer before you post. Of course, you think you have covered all bases by having Daryl post an "alleged" email from you...
If you can't see it I will tell you - Danny's assets are NOT 3ABN's and vice-versa. 3ABN has its own board (let the allegations begin) and 3ABN assets will NOT be in question when Linda tries to "allegedly get more cash" from Danny - if you don't get it now, you never will.

Would you, in the interest of being fair, also mention "The Quiet Hour" and others? Of course not, insinuate away...

Which stockholders are you representing now, Gailon? Have all these "stockholders" contacted you and have you documented their "still awaiting answers" and as I pointed out earlier, this "stockholder" thing seems to be invented by you.

Are you representing the Atlantic Union?
And in the interest of truth, will you also please put in the following correction - save3ABN.com (not) ?

do you think this is danny's way of protecting himself. or is it really of the Lord as they are saying. or maybe it is the Lords way of protecting the 3Abn and danny may disappear for a while.
