(1) lovers of their own selves,
2Ti 3:1 (Christians) This know also, that in the last days perilous (fierce-dangerous) times shall come.
Difficult Times to Come
- Gen 49:1 And Jacob called unto his sons, and said, gather yourselves together, that I may tell you that which shall befall you in the last days-47
- Time of Ignorance Jer 48:42-48 And Moab shall be destroyed from being a people, because he has magnified himself against the LORD. Jer 48:43 Fear, and the pit, and the snare, shall be upon you, O inhabitant of Moab, says the LORD. Jer 48:44 He that flees from the fear shall fall into the pit; and he that gets up out of the pit shall be taken in the snare: for I will bring upon it, even upon Moab, the year of their visitation, says the LORD. Jer 48:45 They that fled stood under the shadow of Heshbon because of the force: but a fire shall come forth out of Heshbon, and a flame from the midst of Sihon, and shall devour the corner of Moab, and the crown of the head of the tumultuous ones. Jer 48:46 Woe be unto you, O Moab! the people of Chemosh perishes: for your sons are taken captives, and your daughters captives. Jer 48:47 Yet will I bring again the captivity of Moab in the latter days, says the LORD. Thus far is the judgment of Moab.
- Psa 83:5 For they have consulted together with one consent: they are confederate against you:
- Time of Ignorance Psa 83:6-8 The tabernacles of Edom, and the Ishmaelites; of Moab, and the Hagarenes; Psa 83:7 Gebal, and Ammon, and Amalek; the Philistines with the inhabitants of Tyre; Psa 83:8 Assur also is joined with them: they have holpen the children of Lot.
- Jer 49:35-39 Thus says the LORD of hosts; Behold, I will break the bow of Elam, the chief of their might. Jer 49:36 And upon Elam will I bring the four winds from (Providence of Iran) the four quarters of heaven, and will scatter them toward all those winds; and there shall be no nation whither the outcasts of Elam shall not come. Jer 49:37 For I will cause Elam to be dismayed before their enemies, and before them that seek their life: and I will bring evil upon them, even my fierce anger, says the LORD; and I will send the sword after them, till I have consumed them: Jer 49:38 And I will set my throne in Elam, and will destroy from thence the king and the princes, says the LORD. Jer 49:39 But it shall come to pass in the latter days, that I will bring again the captivity of Elam, says the LORD.
- Jer 49:35 Thus says the LORD of hosts; Behold, I will break the bow of Elam, the chief of their might. see Psa 83 paper
- Time of Ignorance 1Ti 4:1-2 Now the Spirit speaks expressly, that in the latter times some (rejectors) shall depart from the faith (Acts 4:12 1Con 15:1-4), giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils; 1Ti 4:2 (rejectors) Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron;
- 2Ti 4:3-4 For the time will come when they (rejectors) will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they (rejectors) heap to themselves teachers, having itching (support own life style) ears; 2Ti 4:4 And they (rejectors) shall turn away their ears from the truth (John 14:6), and shall be turned unto fables (Col 2:22).
- Isa 30:9-10 That this is a rebellious people, lying children, children that will not hear the law (Matt 22:37:40) of the LORD: Isa 30:10 Which say to the seers, see not; and to the prophets, prophesy not unto us right things, speak unto us smooth things, prophesy deceits:
- Isa 29:13 Wherefore the Lord said, forasmuch as this people draw near me with their mouth, and with their lips do honor me, but have removed their heart far from me, and their fear toward me is taught by the precept of men:
- 2Pe 3:3-4 Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers (rejectors), walking after their own lusts, 2Pe 3:4 And saying, where is the promise of his coming (John 14:1-3 1Thess 4:13-17 1Cor 15)? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation (Gen 1:1).
- Time of Ignorance 1Jn 2:18 Little (Christian) children, it is the last time: and as you have heard that antichrist (Rev 13:11-18) shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we (Christians) know that it is the last time. 1Jn 2:19 They (rejectors) went out from us (Christians), but they (rejectors) were not of us (Christians); for if they (rejectors) had been of us (Christians), they (rejectors) would no doubt have continued with us (Christians): but they (rejectors) went out, that they (rejectors) might be made manifest that they (rejectors) were not all of us (Christians). See Heb 5:12-6:1-6 Paper
- 2Th 2:3-4 Let no man deceive you (Christians) by any means: for that day shall not come, except there comes a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; 2Th 2:4 Who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sits in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God.
- Joh 17:12 While I (Jesus) was with them (Christians Acts 20:28 Heb 12:23) in the world, I (Jesus) kept them (Christians) in your (God) name (Acts 4:12): those that you (God) gave me (Jesus) I have kept, and none of them (Christians Eph 1:13 Eph 4:30) is lost, but the son of perdition; that the scripture might be fulfilled.
- Mat 26:14-16 Then one of the twelve, called Judas Iscariot, went unto the chief priests, Mat 26:15 And said unto them, what will you (chief priests) give me (Judas), and I (Judas) will deliver him (Jesus) unto you (chief priests)? And they covenanted with him (Judas) for thirty pieces of silver. Mat 26:16 And from that time he (Judas) sought opportunity to betray him (Jesus).
- Php 1:28 And in nothing terrified by your (Christians) adversaries: which is to them (rejectors) an evident token of perdition, but to you (Christians) of salvation, and that of God.
- Mar 14:44 And he (Judas) that betrayed him (Jesus) had given them (chief priests) a token, saying, whomsoever I (Judas) shall kiss, that same is he (Jesus); take him, and lead him (Jesus) away safely.
- 1Ti 6:-10 But they that will be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition. 1Ti 6:10 For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.
- Heb 10:29-31 Of how much sorer punishment, suppose you (Christians), shall he (rejectors) be thought worthy, who (rejectors) has trodden underfoot the Son of God, and has counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he (rejectors) was sanctified, an unholy thing, and has done despite unto the Spirit of Grace? Heb 10:30 For we (Christians) know him (God) that has said, vengeance belongs unto me, I (God) will recompense, says the Lord. And again, The Lord shall judge his people. Heb 10:31 It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.
- 2Pe 3:5-7 For this they (rejectors) willingly are ignorant of, that by the word (John 1:1-3 John 1:14 Matt 1:18) of God the heavens (Gen 1:1) were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water: 2Pe 3:6 Whereby the world that then was (Isa 14:12-20 Ezek 28:12-19), being overflowed with water, perished: 2Pe 3:7 But the heavens and the earth, which are now (Gen 1:3), by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men (Rev 20:14-15).
- 2Th 2:6-12 And now you (Christians 2Tim 2:15) know what withholds that he (man of sin) might be revealed in his time (Rev 6:2). 2Th 2:7 For the mystery of iniquity does already work: only he (Holy Spirit) who now let’s will let, until he (Holy Spirit) be taken out of the way (Holy Spirit permits more to happen). 2Th 2:8 And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom (son of perdition) the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming: 2Th 2:9 Even him, whose (man of sin) coming is after the working of Satan (Rev 13:1-2) with all power and signs and lying wonders, 2Th 2:10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them (rejectors) that perish; because they (rejectors) received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. 2Th 2:11 And for this cause God shall send them (rejectors Rev 9:20-21 Rev 13:7-8) strong delusion, that they (rejectors) should believe a lie: 2Th 2:12 That they (rejectors) all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.
