Speculative Faith, a site devoted to Christian speculative fiction (sci-fi, fantasy, spiritual, et al) is having a writing contest.
The full rules are on the page, but here're the basics: they give a first sentence, then the writers take that sentence and make a 100-300 word story (the given first sentence isn't a part of the word count, meaning your story can add 300 words after that first sentence and you'll be fine). Entries are judged by up-voting. See the rules for the times for the various aspects of the contest.
Anyway, it's a fun little contest, usually with a good variety of stories entered, and entering is free. Come and give it a shot!
