Yesterday I was out with a group of people from different churches in front of a local abortion mill. Unlike what people expect from Christian protestors, we're there to plead with mothers, offer free and accessible help/information, and offer to walk alongside of them during the process. We preach the word, sing songs, and edify each other with discussions. It's always an amazing time and it's all for the glory of God.
While we were out yesterday, a man pulled a gun on us and threatened to kill us. But none of us were harmed and the man was arrested. He needs prayer though...his girlfriend went through with the abortion and now not only does he have two felony charges, but he has a murdered baby. Pray for his revival and salvation.
BUT!! Despite the chaos, God saved two babies from death!! Some of our group spent nearly an hour pleading with a couple and they finally turned away from the death mill. And another woman decided to keep her baby after receiving support and encouragement from us. God is so, so good! It's heartbreaking to see all the babies who were killed, but we must celebrate every victory, for God is working. Even in these dark times, He hasn't quit.
