Did you ever wonder why God gave the LAW first, and much later Jesus was given as God's Grace?

Its because the Law is necessary to be in place to REVEAL us, as we are, in relation to God's Holiness.
This is the actual purpose of the Law, the specific purpose.
Its to reveal you, as UNRIGHTEOUS.

The general purpose of the law and commandments, is to give you a moral boundary that defines...>Dont go past this morality line, as if you do, suffering will follow you like night follows day.
You will reap what you sow, on this earth.
Every deed is a seed, planted as your coming harvest of destiny.

However, the SPECIFIC reason the law is given is to show YOU that YOU are a sinner, and need help, need rescue, .....need to be SAVED.
So, the Law DEFINES you and it JUDGED you, and based on the Law's findings, you are hell bound and lost....=a sinner.
This is the current status of every unbeliever. = John 3:36.

Christians generally think that damnation follows death, regarding an unbeliever.
However, damnation is already ON the unbeliever, while they are breathing.
It is finally executed as their eternal situation, after they die. (2nd Death).
This means they are already damned, and waiting for the end of it, which is hell, then the lake of fire.

The father of all the damned, is the original damned one, himself.
Lucifer, now Satan. He is the father of UNBELIEF, and the father of unbelievers.
Unbelievers end up with their father, after they die. This is hell, then the lake of Fire.
BELIEVERS, end up with their Father after they die. This is first Heaven, followed by 1000 years with Jesus, in Jerusalem.

God came here as Christ on The Cross to change you from damned to a "new Creation" "In Christ", which is to possess Eternal Life.
    Eternal life, is not temporary.

So had there been no law given by Moses, you would not understand what you are in God's perspective before you are saved, and its from this understanding that the LAW Reveals to you, that we REALIZED our lost situation....that we are fallen, sinners, and damned. John 3:36

    So what then?

We turn to The Cross, and there.... We believe on/in Jesus.
= We Enter into God's GRACE, by being "made Righteous" through the Blood of Jesus.

A.) God's Grace says...>come unto me, and i'll make you RIGHTEOUS.<. come unto me and i'll make you clean and give you eternal life.......come unto JESUS and BELIEVE and i'll make you MINE forever.

    Reader......Are you His?
    Do you belong to God?
You absolutely do, and remain God's, if you are born again.
You are become a everlasting part of His eternal FAMILY.
    His "body".

If you are not, then you are LOST, and if you die this way you will never have a chance to belong to God, and He will get rid of you when you meet Him, and you surely will meet Him, reader.
This is to "go to Hell" for the sin of CHRIST REJECTION.
That's the first place you end up after you die, if you have rejected God's mercy, on this earth.
Once there, you can't get out, there is no 2nd chance waiting for you there.
All your second chances are HERE, NOW.
"Now is the day of salvation".
    Today. !

Jesus came to save you from your sin and from the eternally damned destination that is waiting for all who have never trusted in Christ.
If that is you, then trust Him today. Take Jesus into your heart today. Believe in Jesus today, right now..... and settle your eternity and find your peace of mind that only God can give you that only comes from knowing that once you are gone from this world you will forever be found with God and HIS born again Family.

The law of faith existed from the beginning. The law of Moses was given due to sin (and faithlessness.

Sin is the transgression of the Law. The wages of sin is death. Death is the curse of the Law. Yeshua became a curse for us. If there is no law then what need is there for grace?

Its interesting that sin is discovered as sin, by the law.
Yet, You have, "where there is no law, there is no Transgression".
Yet, Lucifer was found to have "iniquity", before the law was given, and so to was this found in Adam and Eve, before the law was given.
So, that is REBELLION, that is not yet defined as "sin", because the Law was not yet given.

The need for Grace, is to do 2 things.

Grace as understood as God redeeming you with His Blood. Which is to be born again.

So, you need this, This Grace of God, because without it, God can't accept you, and won't.

Next, once God accepts you, this acceptance is eternal, as its based on HOW He did it.
He did it, Himself. So, that is Eternal God, providing the WAY, you are accepted.
The way is an eternal WAY, which is : John 14:6

The reason God created the New Covenant, which is the Blood of Jesus that makes you as righteous as God and sustains this for you.... Philippians 1:6. is because the LAW and the COMMANDMENTS have no power to give you righteousness or make you righteous.
All they can do is show you that you are unrighteous, and provide for you a moral boundary that will keep you from harm and hurt and loss.

The law of Moses increased sin but increased grace to the faithful.

Yet Adam died. And Noah was righteous before God. Abraham kept the law 430 years before the law of Moses was given,
before the Sinai covenant was given.
Gen 26:5 Because that Abraham obeyed my voice, and kept my charge, my commandments, my statutes, and my laws.

De 5:3 The LORD made not this covenant with our fathers, but with us, even us, who are all of us here alive this day.

The law of faith has been from the beginning.
Ro 3:27 Where is boasting then? It is excluded. By what law? of works? Nay: but by the law of faith.
Ro 10:17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

Sodom and Gomorrah destroyed as well.
It says sin was not reckoned until the law.
I think it is interesting That Sodom and Gomorrha were destroyed, Yet there was no reckoning of sin?
I think scripture records some distinctions. God to Adam does not strive with man. He is the avenger of blood to Noah.
Men began to call upon his name, during Enos time (son of Seth)
To Abraham he is the Judge of all the earth.
God hears The blood of Abel crying to him from the ground. The avenger of his blood. We see in the judgement of Sodom and Gommorha God was going down to SEE IF THE GREAT CRY WAS INDEED TRUE.
    Gen 18:20 And the LORD said, Because the cry of Sodom and Gomorrah is great, and because their sin is very grievous;
Ge 18:21 I will go down now, and see whether they have done altogether according to the cry of it, which is come unto me; and if not, I will know.
Ge 19:13 For we will destroy this place, because the cry of them is waxen great before the face of the LORD; and the LORD hath sent us to destroy it.
Yet we find that Not even five were left that were righteous in the city.
This scripture IMO speaks to the fullness of sin in the city. Where were those left to make for a great cry to God? It was the righteous great (many) dead, their blood crying to God from the ground, just like Abel. God did not strive with men, but he did avenge their blood when they cried to him from the ground.

Heb 12:24 And to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaketh better things than that of Abel.

    Yes.

Moses's Law in the OT reveals our sin

Jesus's Blood in the NT redeems us from our sin

Yet, God did not accept Abraham based on his lifestyle or good deeds, or "keeping" anything.
    Abraham was justified by FAITH.
Abraham is the father of our FAITH.
"faith is counted as righteousness", not works.

Noah also was righteous by faith. What I see is the law of faith being dominant prior to Sinai, not the law of Moses.

God told the first couple, that if they ate that fruit, they will "surely die".
So, that is the "reckoning" that was in place, as their law, regarding this one situation.

So, in the Garden, You have God, and you have His word defining the boundary, and you have the punishing for violation of His word, which is the judgment and reckoning they were "under".
That is the same as the Law and Commandments, providing the stopping point...with sowing what you reap as the reckoning, if you break God's word as your "sinful" deed.

And what Adam and Eve did, happened = "where there is no law there is no transgression"..

So, that means .....that until the law came by Moses there was no specific DEFINING of each sin, by name, title, level, .... and there was no specific defining of us as "sinners", until the Law gave us that title.

However, there was certainly a reckoning or a judgement given to Adam and Eve, as their punishment.
And that punishment fell on us all, and God had to come and deal with it., and did.
The 2nd Adam, came to restore the born again as the 1st.

Are we agreed that Jesus is our Salvation, and we dont work for it?
Are we agreed that Eternal Life is Jesus, who is inside us, and that can never be "lost".

    The law of faith.
The law of faith was from the beginning then?
I believe the law was because God was judging the nations through Israel for the fullness of their sins. God allowed the nations to become utterly corrupt before he brought them to account.
Gen 15:14 And also that nation, whom they shall serve, will I judge: and afterward shall they come out with great substance.

Ge 15:16 But in the fourth generation they shall come hither again: for the iniquity of the Amorites is not yet full.

I can't speak for the iniquity of the Amorites.
But i can speak for the "time of the Gentiles'.
If you'd like to look at that, im good to go.

Since The promise of Christ to the Gentiles is found in the Abrahamic covenant promises I don't understand why these things would be skipped.

So, do you want to talk about the body of Christ, in the "time of the gentiles"?
Do you want to talk about Abraham being the "father of our faith"?

I AGREE with any real believer who agrees with the Cross.
The Cross says....>"I am the Blood of Jesus Shed for the World, and all who come to me and are washed in God's Blood, are made as RIGHTEOUS AS GOD HIMSELF, and kept so for eternity".

So, when you see someone posting to me, 100 times a week, they are not in agreement with the Cross.
    Many are like this.
