And many still complain that we in the US should open our borders to everyone.

Wouldn't that be the Christian way ?

No

All towns in the Bible days protected themselves -- usually with walls -- can you believe that ?

The last time that there was a bad incident like this in Britain, people - some in North America - engaged in blaming particular groups, and then it turned out it was a home grown incident; someone local did it. So talk of open / closed borders when the facts are not known is premature.

Local can still be Islamic terror.

So you know that already, do you?

Whether you turn out to be right or wrong, do you know already?

I remember a deathly bombing in Manchester years ago, which turned out to be Northern Ireland-related. Yet this did not "prove" anything about Catholics or Protestants.

Paris.

The number and size of attacks around the world makes it more likely to be Islamist terror than any other. Going with the probabilities here. That means there is a chance I am wrong, but odds are in my favor.

No one knows yet what caused this. Perhaps you might wait until blaming people?

But what is your 'hunch' worth by blaming specific groups before you know the facts?

You don't seem to get the point.

I don't care about the point. If I blame them and I am wrong, does it make Islamist terror a less pervasive phenomenon?

No, it simply means that you are willing to blame a group with no evidence. It says nothing about them and much about you.

Why blame before you know the facts?

Or do you have facts that the media has not yet reported?

In 1933, there was a fire at the Berlin Reichstag, and Hitler's henchmen blamed "the Jews". It later turned out that Hitler's henchmen did it, exactly in order to make people blame "the Jews".

Blaming before the facts are known is irresponsible.

It's a bombing? I'm keeping up in another tab and the UK police still isn't sure.
No, they're still not certain. Someone mentioned a gas main explosion as a possibility. We will find out eventually. Now is simply too early to be pointing fingers.

What does that have to do with immigration? The walls of Jerusalem, like other cities had walls for protection from invading armies. The gates were open for all to come in when not.
