This article is simply political propaganda.

Any reasonable person should realize that the article first asserts out of context that no harm was done by the interference, while duplicitously portraying Obama as the failure for not preventing the harmful interference. There are no discernable facts since the few that are mentioned are applied out of context and the rest is a series of vague assertions meant to form innuendo. There are no preventive solutions presented that could have shown that there were ways to prevent it, making it only insinuative.

There also are no mentions of the sanctions that the Obama administration imposed against Russia as punishment for interfering, and no mention of how the Trump administration lifted those sanctions for Russian oligarch Oleg Deripaska. It's clearly meant to place in the mind that poor Trump was "the victim" and Obama was the "bad guy" concerning any Russian interference, omitting the obviously greater failure of the President Trump who does not even publicly acknowledge that Russia ever interfered in the first place.

It's like robbing a 7-11 and then blaming the cashier for "allowing" it to happen.

At least some are admitting that the president is a lying crook. That's progress, I guess.

Obama wanted to go to the American people with Russian interference. Fearful that it would be interpreted as "political," he went to Mitch McConnell to ask for bipartisan release of the FBI report.

McConnell, knowing Russian interference was favorable to Republicans, refused to participate.

If there is any "shame" here, it is in the most blatantly corrupt Senate Majority leader in history, who deserves to be repudiated not only by his own party but by the voters in his state.

When history finally reveals the extent to Donald J. Trump's crimes, all of his Congressional accomplices will be revealed as criminally negligent in their protection of him instead of fulfilling their oath to the American people.
