“Do not envy the cruel man, and choose none of his ways.” (Proverbs 3.31).

Why not? After all, many times, his ways seem to work out. Notwithstanding, take heed on the differences between them before the Creator in Proverbs 3.32-35:
The wicked:

1 – *how they are looked on*: “For the crooked man is hateful to Jehovah” (Proverbs 3.32);
2 – *their condition*: “The curse of Jehovah is in the house of the wicked” (Proverbs 3.33);
3 – *what it comes to their ears and eyes*: “Surely He scorns the scorners” (Proverbs 3.34);
4 – *what they procure*: “shame shall be the promotion of fools” (Proverbs 3.35).

The righteous:

1 – *their privilege*: “but His secret is with the righteous” (Proverbs 3.32);
2 – *their condition*: “but He blesses the home of the just” (Proverbs 3.33);
3 – *what they procure*: “but He gives grace to the lowly” (Proverbs 3.34);
4 – *their provision is part of their heritage in Christ Jesus. They don’t need to work for their needs* (Matthew 6.11,33; 1Corinthians 2.9; Ephesians 1.3; Philippians 4.19: 2Peter 1.3): “The wise shall inherit glory” (Proverbs 3.35).

The purveyance of the righteous by the Creator, to the eyes of the world, most of the time, doesn’t look like a big deal. Nonetheless, His way is the only one that lead us to the blessing that makes us rich, without adding sorrow to it (Proverbs 10.22).

Have a great day meditating and living this promise:

• “Because the foolish thing of God is wiser than men, and the weak thing of God is stronger than men.” (1Cor 1:25).

• *His Way*, for being straight, this Way put us in several conflicts with those who don’t have pleasure in the truth, but it is the only One that make of us someone trustful and valuable (see 1Peter 1.6,7).
• *His Truth* can be difficult to accept, but it is the only One that get us free from the sin and its oppression (John 8.32);
• *His Life* can be fraught of fights and probations, but it is the only One that allow us to live the heaven since now (Matthew 6.10).
