Trump IS an outsider, since 1921 outsiders are those who aren't members of, or don't agree with the "New World Order " Organization, called "Council on Foreign Relations"

Wake Up America, Only 1 in a 1000 voters ever heard of CFR
It's an elite organization to be sure.
Council on Foreign Relations

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Council_on_Foreign_Relations
The Council on Foreign Relations (CFR), founded in 1921, is a United States 4900-member organization, nonprofit, publisher, and think tank specializing in U.S. foreign policy and international affairs. It is headquartered in New York City, with an additional office in Washington, D.C.. Its membership has included senior politicians, more than a dozen secretaries of state, CIA directors, bankers, lawyers, professors, and senior media figures. The CFR promotes globalization, free trade, reducing financial regulations on transnational corporations, and economic consolidation into regional blocs such as NAFTA or the European Union, and develops policy recommendations that reflect these goals.

The CFR meetings convene government officials, global business leaders and prominent members of the intelligence and foreign-policy community to discuss international issues. CFR publishes the bi-monthly journal Foreign Affairs, and runs the David Rockefeller Studies Program, which influences foreign policy by making recommendations to the presidential administration and diplomatic community, testifying before Congress, interacting with the media, and publishing on foreign policy issues

There's also this ...
DONALD TRUMP MET WITH CFR BOSS RICHARD HAASS: “I respect Richard Haass,” Trump told MSNBC

And this ...
Donald Trump Held Briefing With Richard Haass, Head of Council on Foreign Relations | New York Times

Donald J. Trump, who again declined on Thursday morning to say whom he talks to about foreign affairs, held a private briefing last summer with Richard N. Haass, the president of the Council on Foreign Relations.

Can you say Trojan Horse?

I can't believe Cuban-Canadian Cruz can really speak to anyone as an outsider. I can't believe this can come outta his mouth when he is an insider. People like Donald Trump are one of many that PAY to have an inside. I'm sure there are really good people there in the audience, however they are very deluded thinking the Cuban-Canadian can be elected after he is already mathematically eliminated. Canadian-Cruz apparently does not think his day job is worthy of actually performing and continues to embarrass sincere Americans.

LOL, you've answered your own question here, Herbie.

Who is more of an outsider than a Cuban-Canadian?

Actually not.

I ran through that in another thread this morning. Ted Cruz still has a first-ballot opportunity by doing well in most of the remaining states. Admittedly, not likely, but not mathematically impossible as Trump keeps claiming. (Just another of Trump's lies.)

No, Haas invited ALL the candidates to meet with him, and Trump has not indicated any connection to CFR since that meeting.

It is the CFR's goal to influence our Government, regardless of which party is in the
White house.

Trump was referring to obtaining the required number of required delegates prior to the convention, which IS an impossibility for Cruz.

LOL ... no. Still a possibility as of now.

Don't forget. No one, absolutely no one, knows how all of the unbound delegates will vote.

There is another interesting possibility to keep in mind. Rule 40b requires that a majority of delegates from at least eight states sign a petition stating support for a candidate before that candidate's name can be placed in nomination. Given that almost all of the states "won" by Trump were with minority support ... even 40b could be a high hurdle for Trump to clear. Though I think it unlikely he'll be unable to muster that support, it is entirely possible that Ted Cruz will be the only candidate whose name is submitted for nomination. Just something else for you to consider.

The GOP cannot afford to slide a candidate in ahead of Trump considering all the great number of individual voters who went to the trouble of going out to vote for the one THEY wanted for president.

Just another example of Trump bring situations to public light for all to see. Kinda like showing how sausage is made.

Stakes have always been high for the Globalists, and they will go to ANY lengths to stop Trump.

Obama was installed to get TPP , NAFTA is a Globalist effort, EU, etc,etc

And yet the Republican establishment has gone after him far more than any other opposing President...

Clinton had similar experiences as Obama, he just had a better strategy and skills to deal with the same.

I am talking more about one party claiming someone is an outsider, who is running as part of that same party. When Obama ran in 08, I can't recall the democratic party calling him an outsider.

If Trump wasn't an outsider the primary's would already be over with him as the nominee.

Cruz wants to use the support of and machinery of the party to swing delegates his way because he can't win on the first ballot. Kasich stayed in pretty much specifically denying Trump Ohio, and Cruz is making deals with him about which states to compete in again to try to deny Trump the nomination.

Mitt Freaking ROMNEY put out a plan to deny Trump the nomination.

None of this could ever happen to a party "insider", it would have just been over.

He is the opposing party though. DEMs go after GOP - GOP go after DEMS. Not sure that is the same thing.

If Trump is an insider then why can't Cruz ask the simple question "will he support Trump as the nominee if he wins"?
Perhaps because he supports people who are deserving of support?

How much support did Ted Cruz provide to Mitch McConnell?
