Trump does like to troll people. Big time. Understanding when and how he is doing this can be challenging for some.
Like the people who believed him when he was trolling about Mexico paying for a wall. Or repealing the ACA. Or cutting the deficit.

... and yet the wall is being funded and built, the disastrous NAFTA deal is done, Mexico is finally working to resolve the migrant mess and Trump continues to hold the threat of tariff sanctions over Mexico to ensure they follow through on their commitments. I'm liking it.

As for Obamacare? Although Republicans acted shamefully, Trump ripped the mandate out of the ACA, resolving one of the biggest issues many had with the ACA. There's still room for improvement. To paraphrase Pelosi, we'll just have to elect Trump for another term to see what else there is.

Personally, I'm not happy with the deficit either ... but two out of three ain't bad.

Not by Mexico as promised .. or trolled.

Still not repealed and replaced.
... and what president in recent memory has been able to fulfill all his promises? Not Obama. Not Bush. Not Clinton. Not the other Bush. Not even the great Ronald Reagan. ... and Jimmy Carter?

Some can tell the difference between reasonable attempts at policy and outright trolling.

Am I repeating myself? I'm sensing deja vu.

Regardless. Trump's base remains with him precisely because he has largely done what he campaigned on doing. Perhaps Democrats will sway them away with promises of Socialism?

Whaddaya think? Will the hollow and terrifying promises of socialism persuade Trump voters to abandon him?

You mean that Trump when was talking about a wall, he was really only talking about an incredibly tiny portion of a wall.

That makes sense. I know when I've assigned homework to students and they come back with a sheet of paper with only the name and date i think their homework is complete.

Well, you've left a bunch of stuff off.

Regardless. Trump's base remains with him precisely because he has largely done what he campaigned on doing. Perhaps Democrats will sway them away with promises of Socialism?
The largest part of Trump's base remain with him because he is fulfilling the Christian Nationalist agenda, primarily by packing the courts for an "end run" of the First Amendment and as a bulwark for the Second.

Whaddaya think? Will the hollow and terrifying promises of socialism persuade Trump voters to abandon him?
No, it's the hollow and terrifying stories about socialism which will persuade Trump voters to stay with him. You've got to have something to encourage those who are not religious ideologues.

He said he had a better plan that would leave no one without health care coverage. Where is that plan?
