2) So what. What does that have to do with the thread topic.
I have been around long enough to see popes and clergy grossly misquoted and lied about by the "press". My first instinct is to distrust the press. They tell every lie under the sun about conservatives and Republicans, and they hate the Catholic Church even worse.
I have always been fascinated by conservative Christians who know how the press totally lies about conservatives and Christians, but will turn around and believe every word the press say about the Catholic Church. I guess the enemy of your enemy is your friend?
